    Great service and venue

    We had two receptions for our wedding and Todd and his staff at Stillwater Event Center handled both flawlessly. Our first celebration was at a park during the day, and then we held our evening reception at their venue, and both events went off without a hitch. Todd was responsive to our texts and got back to us within a day whenever we had questions, which made planning stress-free. The food was outstanding and the service from their team was attentive without being intrusive. The venue itself is beautiful and the pricing is fair with no hidden fees. We'd recommend Stillwater Event Center to any couple looking for a reliable space with a staff that genuinely cares about making your day special.

    Amazing!

    We recently held a retirement party at the Stillwater Event Center, and it was the perfect venue! The space was beautiful, with a great layout for our guests, and the outdoor patio was an amazing place to relax and celebrate. Having bartending services and an on-site caterer made everything so easy, and the food and drinks were excellent. The staff was professional, accommodating, and helped make the entire event run smoothly from start to finish. If you're looking for a venue for a retirement party, wedding, reunion, or any special event, I highly recommend the Stillwater Event Center. They helped make our celebration truly memorable!

    Highly Recommend Stillwater Event Center

    From start to finish, Stillwater Event Center kept us in the loop and answered all our questions without any delays. We felt welcomed and supported throughout the entire planning process, which made a real difference in how calm we felt going into our anniversary celebration. The venue itself is spotless, and the catering staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day. The ambiance they created was exactly what we wanted, and the food looked as good as it tasted.     Special Event - Baby Shower & Gathering

    Our family and friends recently had the opportunity to celebrate our daughter's baby shower at the Stillwater Event Center. As our daughter lives out of state, we wanted a comfortable, bright, and spacious venue that would allow us to invite spouses, significant others, and children too. It was not only a baby shower but a bit of a reunion too. The Event Center exceeded our expectations. The space is fresh, bright, and comfortable. From the minute we contacted Todd, the owner, we were treated like guests. Todd listened to us and helped us achieve our vision and goals for the event. His efficient and consultative approach was greatly appreciated. He was very friendly and supportive throughout the process. He made it easy to secure the space and plan the event. Todd's communication throughout the planning process, as well as at the event, was great. He worked with us closely to understand our vision for table setup, activities, gift tables, dessert table, and decorations. He sincerely wanted to make is special for us and provided great hospitality from the day we called him until we walked out the door following our event. The staff was flexible and very personable throughout our event. They handled the details, allowing us to enjoy this special time with family and friends. We also used Scheel's Catering for the event and were very happy with the buffet setup, quality of food and portions. The desserts were especially popular with our guests! We appreciated the flexibility and attention to detail. It was a pleasure working with Todd and the team at Stillwater Event Center. The location is conveniently located off Highway 36, making it easy for locals as well as out-of-town guests. I am happy to recommend the Event Center and Scheel's Catering for parties, showers, weddings, luncheons, reunions, graduations, or any special event you are planning.

When the contract is signed, to continue holding the date, we require a $1,000 non refundable deposit to be paid. Three months prior to the event 50% of the rental fee will be due. The final instalment will be required 30 days prior to the event. We accept payments from cash, check, credit card (3% processing fee applies), or online payments. You are welcome to send smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date. We also reserve the right to request a credit card on file for any damages to the facility or grounds.

Yes! The Stillwater Event Center is an excellent choice for both wedding ceremonies and receptions. Wedding ceremonies may be held indoors or outdoors. We can seat up to 225 guests in our reception area. Our outdoor patio seats up to 100 guests and is accented by a lovely pergola. BONUS Seamless Wedding Experience: Our venue provides a transition from your ceremony to reception, with no need for guests to leave. We transform the space while your guests remain on-site, keeping the celebration flowing. Additional $600.00 includes the ceremony set-up and flip as well as the use of the Bridal Suite from 8:00 a.m. – Midnight
This is a great question. Our answer is No, we do not include a specific “wedding day coordinator.” However, we do provide a dedicated staff person who will be on site to support you throughout your wedding day. This staff member is there to: Answer any questions you might have Assist vendors as they arrive Direct and coordinate as needed Their primary goal is to ensure your day runs as smoothly and stress-free as possible. While they may not carry the title of “wedding day coordinator,” they are committed to helping make your wedding day a success!

Depending on guest count, seating will be 6-10 per table and may include 6-foot banquet table, 8-foot banquet table, or 60-inch round tables.
Yes Stillwater Event Center provides white, ivory, or black linens. (includes skirting on head table, gift table, dessert table if needed), china plates, water goblets, water carafes, silverware.
Do you allow candles? Wall fasteners (tape, screws, tacks, nails, staple, glue), glitter, confetti, silly string, fake snow, birdseeds and similar items are not allowed. Candles may be used but must be enclosed in glass container with the flame protected on all sides at least 1 inch from the top

Catering is exclusively provided by Scheel’s Catering, who also owns the Stillwater Event Center. With our commercial kitchen right here on-site, your wedding meal will be freshly prepared and served straight to your guests. No transportation hassles, no stress—just the most delicious food possible to delight everyone you love. We’ll meet with you to craft a menu. Our team will be with you every step of the way to assist in planning your special meal, desserts, appetizers, late night snacks.
Scheel’s Catering is thrilled to help make your wedding day unforgettable! Late-night snacks are a wonderful way to keep your guests energized and delighted into the evening. Scheels Catering can provide a variety of delicious options, and we’ll work closely with you to create the perfect PM snack. If you’d prefer, you’re also welcome to bring in your own snacks, as long as they’re prepared by a licensed facility. Either way, we’re here to ensure everything is just right for your special day!
You’re welcome to bring in outside snacks and desserts! However, to ensure everything meets our health and safety standards, all items must be purchased from a store or a licensed commercial baker. Your Responsibilities: You’ll need to provide your own bowls, platters, and disposable serving utensils to serve your treats. Venue Support: If you’d rather not worry about bringing those items, we’d be happy to provide them for you! Just let us know in advance so we can work out the details. Please note that additional fees may apply depending on what you need.
