  • 11/10 Wedding Venue! Amazing Food and Staff!

My husband and I got married at SRV in October 2023. We knew we wanted to get married there, and planned our whole wedding around their availability, having booked it 18 months in advance (about 6 months before we even got engaged!). We genuinely couldn't have been happier with the experience of having our wedding at SRV. Working with Meg and the entire staff was absolutely amazing and seamless. Our guests have not stopped complimenting the quality of service and the food, especially how the staff went out of their way to accommodate dietary restrictions. We have been told it was the best wedding many of our guests have ever been to. We were very happy with the planning experience. Meg was fantastic to work with, very patient with our incessant questions, and had great solutions for issues that came up. She was even extremely responsive to questions well outside of the planning window preceding the event. The wedding itself was fantastic. Although we were unable to use the patio due to the weather, the staff so expertly turned the room back and forth from ceremony space, to dining room, to reception space, we never missed the additional space. The raw space is so unique and lovely, that the addition of just small bud vases felt like plenty to make the restaurant feel beautiful and celebratory. The service and food, as I mentioned above, were outstanding. I truly could not imagine a better wedding experience. Instructions, requests for information, and deadlines were all extremely clear, and Meg helped us with all the decisions we needed assistance with, and made great recommendations. The tasting was amazing, it made us so excited for the wedding. A lot happened in the days leading up to the wedding, and Meg was patient and accommodating as we tried to troubleshoot. She worked directly with my event planner and my vendors in the last days so that I could deal with other things, and for that I will be forever grateful. The food was beyond incredible. We were told by our guests that our wedding featured the best food many of them have ever had at a wedding. People were so impressed by the cocktails and the wine selection. We love the kitchen at SRV, and this was the primary reason we chose SRV as our wedding venue; we were not disappointed. I would absolutely recommend SRV as a wedding venue, the entire process was seamless, and we felt so valued by Meg and the entire staff. Thank you, thank you, SRV!

  • Amazing food, horrible wedding coordinator (meg)

I have been waiting to be able to write this review, but wanted to wait until services were done to write an honest review in fear of wedding day sabotage. My husband and I fell in love with SRV the moment we sat down for dinner and tasted the amazing food....we knew it was going to be where we got married! During our first dinner, our server was amazing and the manager even came over to greet us. We decided to move forward with looking at the venue and evaluating it for a wedding venue. That is when we met Meg, SRV's wedding coordinator. She was so extremely rude and uninterested in our meeting and showing us around the place. Unfriendly and bothered by our simple questions. I tried to not let it get to me as this was our dream venue. We proceeded with booking the venue, even Meg couldn't stop us, but management should know that multiple couples I know were turned off and crossed SRV off their wedding list because of Megs attitude. Megs sour attitude continued through planning and day off, as if we were such an inconvenience to her to have to meet with us and answer questions. Please note that she got a significant portion of what we paid for the wedding. I have worked in the service industry for years and I simply have never met someone so miserable doing their job. Our wedding was amazing, the rest of the staff and really the food was AMAZING, but Meg was a dark cloud even on wedding day. I was nervous to ask her for anything as she seemed so inconvenienced even though she is the day of coordinator. Everyone has bad days, but this behavior continued throughout our entire wedding planning process. I really really hate to leave a review like this, but I want to prevent any other couples of having to deal with her. Thank you to the rest of the amazing SRV staff.
