With 30 acres of meadows, trees, and a peaceful riverfront, it offers a private, secluded atmosphere. Our pricing is tailored to fit the size of your event and your specific needs, ensuring flexibility. We partner with several trusted vendors to offer an all-inclusive experience, or you can choose the DIY route and select your own vendors. One of our standout features is our stunning 16-foot handmade glossy farmhouse tables—they’re a guest favorite! Southern Granary's unique industrial-rustic charm, paired with surrounding patio spaces, open fields, woodlands, and riverfront views, gives you the freedom to plan your event exactly as you envision. Plus, we offer an Airbnb just a block away, perfect for hosting up to 12 of your family members, friends, or wedding party.

The Ceremony Meadow

The grassy Meadow is surrounded on all sides by trees, nestled along the Staunton River.

Beyond the first tree line you can find the private Meadow Ceremony Site, a beautiful option if you dream of an outdoor ceremony. The grassy field is surrounded on all sides by old trees, nestled along the banks of the Staunton River. It’s a short walk across the field back to Southern Granary, or ride the golf cart shuttle along the path cut through the woods.

The Patio & Grounds

A charming spacious covered Patio with twinkle lights overhead and comfortable seating for appetizer hour, Patio ceremony, and reception enjoyment!

Outside, the 4,000 sq/ft patio offers plenty of space for cocktails and lawn games. If you’re lucky, you will get to see one of the freight trains up close and personal as they slowly chug past Southern Granary. There’s plenty of graveled space for parking, plus acres of beautiful old wheat fields for more parking, entertaining, or just peace and privacy.

Southern Granary

A charming warehouse venue, perfectly suited to you.

Southern Granary is an old grain warehouse that served the local farming community for many years. The 3-story grain tower is still in restoration, but the 5,000 sq/ft of space on the ground floor is decorated with thousands of string lights in the rafters, giant windows, and original restored concrete floors. Glossy hand-crafted banquet tables and high-quality wood chairs create a warm and inviting space for up to 200 of your closest friends and family.
