Situated in the heart of Sonoma County, California, Sonoma Forest Sanctuary is a one-of-a-kind property for weddings, anniversaries, and retreats. Its 730 acres boast mountain views, ancient redwood and oak forest, natural pond and river, as well as beautiful landscaping and water features surrounding a 5000 square-foot elegant manor house. This tranquil estate can be your dream come true. Across the vast landscape, Sonoma Forest Sanctuary is nestled with historic architecture and botanical features. If you desire more greenery, you may wander across the garden and lawn for photoshoots. The private estate, The Manor House, can sleep up to 18 of your closest friends and family and up to 38 people in the luxury outdoor Eco-Pods. The Manor House features a darling balcony, tall arched ceilings, and an array of fireplaces to keep you and your guests warm. Enjoy the on-site water features by visiting the indoor jacuzzi or delight in the refreshing waters of the outdoor pool.

From the planning to clean up and everything in between, Sonoma Forest Sanctuary was a pleasure to work with and helped us to create a wedding that we will never forget.

You will need someone that has an alcohol license and insurance to be on site. Generally any catering company will have that covered. Many bartenders have a license as well and just have to be on site.

Yes, we have a commercial parking lot from which we can arrange a shuttle service to bring you to the venue.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 9 months of the scheduled date, your deposit can be applied to future dates. If you cancel your event within 120 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.

The closest airport is Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport, which is 45 minutes from our venue. You can either rent a car, book an Uber, or book another private taxi service. San Francisco International airport is a 2 hour drive away from our venue. You can either rent a car, book an Uber, or book another private taxi service.

Yes, we require a wedding or event policy to be issued at least one month prior to your event date. All vendors must also be insured.

While an events staff member will be present for your event, we do not provide day-of coordination services. The staff member's responsibility is mainly building maintenance, setup, security, and being available for you and your vendors. You are required to hire a wedding planner or coordinator.
