About this venue

Mid-century modern mood! Most people can relate to the feeling of familiarity from visiting grandparents and relatives, or from their own childhood home. Mid-century design reminds us of simpler easier times. We can bring those past feel-good feelings into the current time. These powerful and nostalgic feelings are what make Retrowe a destination for your special event. When there is not an event at Retrowe, we have MCM shops that are open to the public. Your guests can enjoy the views of the rooms while they dine, or the blinds can be drawn for an intimate setting. We'd love for you to share in the mid-century modern mood with us!!

With a capacity for 100 people, we have plenty of space to comfortably accommodate your group and conduct a special event here. The intimate setting of Retrowe allows you to have seated dining in our open hall that resembles a street scene from the 1950s. The custom shades can be open or drawn while you relax under vintage street lighting, creating a hip, urban cocktail party atmosphere. It's quite a unique party room.

The handcrafted wooden industrial staircase leads upstairs to a swanky cocktail area. Mood lighting, leather couch and great view attract guests for a quick getaway from the crowd. Enjoy some intimate conversation or make this an area for an acoustic guitarist, the choices are limitless. Did I mention the great sound system throughout the building fully equipped with Bluetooth and portable microphones?

    Wow!

    This place is unlike any other venue in the area!! I can't believe it's only an hour drive from Pittsburgh. The hotels are only 5 minutes away, so it's a perfect spot for a micro-wedding, corporate party or bridal shower. The place is impeccably furnished and top-notch. Have an event here and everyone will know that you know have arrived!


Yes, have RAMP certified bartenders to serve you.
Chairs, 2 round tables and 14 rectangle tables are provided. White tablecloths are provided. You may bring linen colors and decorations of your choice. Wireless microphones, 3 TVs with ROKU, surround sound system
Yes, free ample parking
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
Your reservation includes six hours from start to finish. We work with our clients to arrange for ample set up time beforehand. Clean up fee is required. $100 for weeknight rentals and $200 for weekend rentals.
All cancellations must be in writing. If cancellation occurs more than 120 days prior to event date, the deposit can be transferred to future booking within the same year or it is retained by Retrowe, LLC. Deposit is non-refundable. No refunds of the space rental fees thereafter will be refunded if canceled 45 days prior to an event. If circumstances beyond the control of Retrowe force us to cancel your reservation, Retrowe will refund all sums paid. If the full rental payment is not received 45 days prior to your event, Retrowe reserves the right to cancel your reservation without a deposit refund.
A signed contract and date-hold deposit of ½ the total fee is due on day of booking. · • The balance of your space rental fee is due forty-five (45) days prior to your event. · If booking less than 45 days ahead, the ENTIRE BALANCE IS DUE AT TIME OF BOOKING.
Retrowe is located only 1 hour north of Pittsburgh,PA and 1 ½ hours south of Cleveland, Ohio. Minutes from Interstate 80 and 360, there are 5 hotels that are less than 5 miles away from our event space. Come and enjoy all of our amenities and you and your guests can have a wonderful weekend stay.
Special Event Liability Insurance is required of ALL clients and is due no later than ten (10) days prior to your event. Any caterers and/or outside vendors, companies, and/or institutions MUST provide a copy of their Certificate and Catering License to Retrowe at least one month prior to the event.
Smoking is allowed in a designated area on the patio walkway and away from the building. All cigarette butts must be placed in the appropriate receptacle. If smoking materials are discarded in planters, sidewalks or grounds, an extra cleanup charge will be imposed. Any guests violating the smoking restrictions will be asked to leave the premises by the event staff.
