The Venue at Mountain Shadow Farm blends modern elegance with Appalachian mountain quiet. Our shiplap-lined barn, warm wood accents, and custom barrel bar create a clean, timeless backdrop for your day. Outside, the Timberstone Deck and Poplar Porch overlook sweeping Unaka Mountain views—perfect for golden-hour portraits, first looks, and private moments. Designed for unhurried, full-weekend wedding retreats, TVSMF offers optional onsite lodging for up to 6 guests, early arrival, relaxed setup, and space to truly settle in before the celebration. With room for up to 125 guests, it’s the ideal setting for couples who want natural beauty, connection, and a wedding experience that feels easy, personal, and deeply romantic.

Rental of this space include 125 crossback Chiavari chairs, 15 round dining tables and an assortment of buffet tables. One rectangular farmhouse style maple-top table is also included.

Great Experience!
We got married here and it was an amazing experience! From start to finish everyone was very helpful and accommodating of all our vendors. We even had llamas come from a nearby farm for our first look photos and for the guests to interact with before the wedding. The bridal suite gave my wife a great area to prepare in private while also giving enough room for my family and friends to be there for me. The views made for some incredible pictures! Highly recommend!
Gorgeous Mountain Views & Accommodating Staff
As a wedding photographer, I loved my experience working at this venue! The owners were just so sweet and very accommodating for whatever I needed. They wanted to work as a team and serve the Bride & Groom well. They didn't settle for anything less than the best. The property and venue are beautiful! The views of the Smoky Mountains are just breathtaking and perfect for an outdoor wedding.
Our Special Day
Really loved our experience at Mountain Shadow Events. The scenery was gorgeous, making the photos even more amazing than we would have ever expected. The owner was so pleasant and kind to work with, making it easier to plan for everything. Details that mattered to us, mattered to them as well and would definitely recommend this venue for even just the scenery alone.
