About this venue
Built in the middle 1948 from timber on the property. This cabin is made from hand hued logs and hand mixed concrete for the foundation. In the early 60s Lyman Winfrey bought the cabin and moved his family from the city of Spirit Lake to the cabin. In 2008 the Winfrey family remodeled the cabin to add better heating, new flooring, and more. In 2020 the Winfrey’s made more updates to host the wedding of their daughter, updating the landscape and other amenities. We know you will fall in love with the quiet and calm ambience of the wooded property that has hosted some of our family's most special occasions and casual weekend retreats. With the Cabin just a 5 min walk to the lake down the street and gorgeous landscape for a beautiful outdoor event!

Peak pricing $3,250-3,500
Perfect package for your wedding! This package includes 14 hours of use of the facilities for only $3250 for the full day (No later than 10pm) and only $350 additional if the couple would like to extend their stay till morning with an 11 am check out.

Peak pricing $5,000
A beautiful day in Spirit Lake with full access to the cabin for 43 hours and use of all the utilities, unlimited access to our in-house wedding coordinator. Additional nights $350 per night if you would like to extend your stay. Enjoy this magical wedding in the woods!

This all inclusive package includes everything you would need! Just pick your dress & caterer and we will take care of the rest! Beautiful Wooded Wedding
Loved my wedding at Lyman's Cabin. We had so much extra time to decorate and relax compared to what other venues offered. The best part was all the candles that we got to line the little path way to the ceremony space, so romantic! We got married in the fall and I loved the vibe of the little town of Spirit Lake. This will always be our special place <3
