About this venue
Heirloom Fields is a family-run blueberry farm and open-air event space tucked away in Loranger, Louisiana. We fell in love with these 16 acres while painting live weddings here and jumped at the chance to care for the land ourselves. We cap our calendar at one wedding per weekend so you never feel rushed. Spend your morning getting ready in our private, 1,600 sq. ft. cottage—complete with a built-in salon vanity, full kitchen, and porch (which also doubles as a cozy honeymoon night stay for two). Out on the grounds, you’ll find ancient white oaks, quiet rows of berries, a pond, and permanent climate-controlled restrooms. Whether you envision saying "I do" under the oaks or planning a tented reception under the stars, our open-vendor policy gives you complete freedom to bring in the caterers, musicians, and stylists who fit your vision. Most of all, we run Heirloom Fields like family, helping make sure your day feels easy, peaceful, and entirely yours.

Love this place!
I fell in love with Heirloom Fields while doing a live wedding painting there, and I immediately understood why couples choose this venue. The setting feels like you're getting married in a family backyard that happens to be absolutely stunning—there's a relaxed, intimate quality that sets it apart from typical event spaces. What struck me most is how intentional everything feels; nothing about this place screams generic or cookie-cutter. The owners clearly care about creating an experience rather than just hosting an event. If you're looking for a venue with character and genuine warmth, Heirloom Fields delivers on both fronts.
