About this venue
Nice to meet you! We are Riley Ensign and Alyssa Jade. It is a once in a life time opportunity to start your dream business with the love of your life, and here we are! Ensign Jade Acres is a barn venue that sits on seven beautiful acres with picturesque country views. Located in Freeport, Illinois; central to Rockford and Galena, our location is the perfect escape from the city while remaining a short drive from Milwaukee or Chicago.

Rustic and cozy!
The lower level of our barn is 2100 ft.² From its concrete floors to its tin ceiling, this space creates a very rustic environment! Our posts are surrounded by 8 rustic whiskey barrels that can be used for cocktail tables or appetizer trays. This space becomes the dance floor for the reception as well as an easy flow common space, as our bar is located on the lower level and access to our courtyard as well.

The Haymow
The perfect amount of farm charm!
The upstairs level of our barn is 2100 ft.² Our upstairs is highlighted by the originality of the 100 year old barn that has been renovated to create this warm, rustic country atmosphere. Our 6 foot chandelier is centered in the barn creating beautiful lighting over the event. The barn beams are wrapped in string lights to create a magical glow. Our upstairs is accessible by stairs or our haymow ramp.

We now offer our weekend wedding rental. This allows couples Friday(12-8) for set up and rehearsal, Saturday(8-11) for the wedding and Sunday(8-12) to pack up decor. This option allows the most stress free and relaxed day for everyone.

Beautiful Venue, Beautiful People!!
Ensign Jade was the most perfect venue my husband and I could have ever dreamed of. Riley and Alyssa were so accommodating and it was so easy to see that their hearts were to give us a beautiful wedding day. HIGHLY recommend!!!!
Best Wedding Venue Around!!!
Ensign Jade Acres was an excellent choice for a wedding venue. Their communication was quick and friendly throughout the planning process, and they were easy to work with. The venue itself was beautiful, with spacious and well-maintained surroundings that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. They also provided photography services, which captured all the magical moments seamlessly. Overall, Ensign Jade Acres offered great value and you can't have asked for a more perfect setting for a wedding.
