About this venue

Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds has been an iconic Western venue since 1974! Sprawling over 40 acres, you and your guests will have space to enjoy the expansive mountain views from your ceremony and reception areas. The fun, western facades give the perfect photo opportunities and provide a backdrop for all to love. With a large stage, saloon, and dance floor, your wedding is sure to be a hit! There is a separate ceremony area that already has seating to welcome your guests. The bridal suite spans over 1,000 sq. ft. and features a living space, two ready rooms, and an expansive wooden deck to relax and get ready for your memorable day! The parking area is large and private.

    Perfect Elopement

    We arranged a very short notice wedding during our travels to Yosemite with a group of friends. It was casual and fun - exactly what we wanted. They made a venue package for us because of rare request… can’t thank them enough. The venue was so much fun and the views are awesome! All of our friends loved it. It got a little cold at night but they provided heaters. We want to go back during their rodeo to experience it full action.

    Literally Unforgettable Wedding

    The Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From our first interaction, the staff was incredibly helpful, informative, and quick to respond to all of our questions. On the day of, they took care of setting up all the tables and decor, allowing us to focus on enjoying the festivities. The fun, western-themed atmosphere and casual vibe, combined with the stunning views, made for an unforgettable celebration. We're so glad we chose the Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds for our special day!

Cancellation by Client: If the Client cancels the event, the following refund schedule shall apply: Cancellation more than 90 days prior to the event: Full refund of amounts paid, less the non-refundable deposit. Cancellation within 90 days of the event: No refund. Cancellation by Venue: The Venue reserves the right to cancel this Agreement for reasons beyond its control (e.g., force majeure). In such cases, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded to the Client.
Yes, we have an expansive parking area that is self-parking. Trucks with trailers can easily park and turn around.
The Client must provide proof of general liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, naming the Venue as an additional insured, no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event. If alcohol is being served, Client must provide proof of liquor liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000, naming the Venue as an additional insured, no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event.
Fresno Airport Terminal is the closest international airport. Head North or Peach Ave. to HWY 180. Take HWY 180 West to connect to HWY 41 North. HWY 41 will take you directly to Coarsegold, where you will take a Left-hand turn at Road 415. The Coarsegold Rodeo Grounds is 3 miles on your Right-hand side of Road 415, look for the large sign.

Yes, we do not supply any alcohol. If alcohol will be served at the event, the CLIENT must hire one of the bartending services listed on our vendor list to pour. No self-service is allowed. Alcohol may not be served to minors.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible however please note of gravel paths.
