Beautiful, affordable, and just 20 minutes from Charlottesville: only 3 of the reasons you should consider Bellair Farm for your next event! Our farm has incredible scenic views and our historic barn really shines in the evening light. With our venue, you have access to farm veggies, meats and flowers (when in season) for that perfect all-local wedding in a one-stop-shop! You can also host kids’ parties complete with wagon ride, family reunions, or work parties. Pricing is based on nature of event, number of attendees, and other factors. Bellair Farm

If you’re looking for a rustic farm feel without the inflated price, Bellair is your best bet.

The first thing to know is that we are working farm -- lots of rustic charm and affordability, but not so much glitz, glam, or amenities. Events cannot take place during our open hours: Saturdays 9-2 and Fridays 9-5. However, set-up, deliveries, and decorating can be happening during those hours. We are able to empty the main barn room and easily "turn it around" for a 4pm or 5pm event start time on Saturdays; Sunday daytime is free as well. Friday night events need to start 7pm or later.

Included in this room:

Large indoor barn space (no climate control), outdoor pergola, grassy lawns, and gravel/grass parking included. Greenhouse available Fall/Winter only. We will sweep/mop, tidy the grounds, and move farm vehicles/equipment out of eyesight. Some large fridges are permanent, but can be covered by drop-cloths. Also: rustic wooden tables for display or buffet; indoor & outdoor electric hookup; outdoor pizza oven for DIY or your caterer; walk-in cooler & freezer; Portajohn rental required, no bathroom.

    Bellair Farm was the perfect rustic, casual, and relaxed venue for our wedding day. The rural setting provided a gorgeous, natural backdrop for our celebration, with plenty of room for our family and friends to spread out and enjoy the live band playing old time music, the square dance, and the barbecue buffet in the barn. The kids had a blast running around, playing in the sandboxes, and blowing bubbles. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect, laid-back setting to tie the knot. They generously let us store some of our flowers, food, and beer in their large walk-in cooler. Our caterer was able to set up in a closed off space in the barn that was out of site. Highly recommend Bellair Farm for any couple who is doing a DIY wedding event and looking for understated natural beauty and a relaxed setting that is kid-friendly.
