Events are milestones. A distinct time in one's life where people come together, fall in love, celebrate, congratulate, and often mark the closing of one phase of life and the beginning of another. I started Maebell in 2018 as a way to make extra income to pay for grad school at JU while still working full-time as a School Counselor in Duval. Little did I know that I would find myself living the dream as an Event Coordinator and Small Business Owner. With a background in logistics and a creative knack for detail, I have found my true and authentic self when I am with my clients, couples, and their families.

Often we see that event planner and event coordinator are used interchangeably, but there is actually a very distinct difference between the two. Our strength and uniqueness at Maebell is that we specialize in event coordinating. The coming together of an event and assuring it runs smoothly and to the vision you as the client planned for.

    Allyson was absolutely fantastic! We couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, thorough, fun, I-got-this-everyone-go-have-fun-and-don't-think-about-it coordinator! We interviewed a few coordinators local to the venue (Charlotte, NC) and couldn't find anyone as knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with as Allyson. So, we decided it was worth it to pay for her travel expenses and have her execute our big day :). She had the perfect balance of making sure everything was discussed and taken care of while also keeping us calm and avoiding any opportunity to feel overwhelmed. We can't recommend Allyson Reese and Maebell Event Coordinating enough! She went above and beyond, picking up linens, making the flowers look perfect, bringing us our drinks of choice throughout the reception, and hitting the dance floor when everyone needed that extra boost of joy. Allyson - THANK YOU for making the day so seamless and special!!

    Hiring Allyson was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. She exceeded my expectations! From the very beginning she was easy to communicate with and very professional. She did everything I asked, and did it better than I planned. She made the day feel smooth and flawless. She ran the rehearsal and made sure everyone was prepared and confident in what they needed to do. Knowing she was there on our wedding day took such a load of stress off. My other vendors all complimented how awesome she was to have there. She took care of every single thing that anyone needed. I highly recommend her to any bride!
