With over 3 years of hands-on event experience, we specialize in creating highly personal celebrations for busy and modern couples with organization, trust, reliability, and expertise. Nobody ever taught you how to plan a wedding, and it’s not a skill people will use again. From developing your design to picking the right vendor, we see couples become blindsided and overwhelmed with every detail – and that’s where we are here to guide you!

You need a wedding coordinator, the return on your investment is 100 fold. Kayla and her team worked magic for us at our wedding. Not to mention, her pre-wedding process and checklists, those were incredibly helpful in making sure we considered all of the details that make up a wedding. I love planning parties for family and friends and the detail that goes into them but nothing can prepare you for the details of a wedding, but a wedding coordinator who really knows her stuff and always keeps her cool is 100% what you need for your special day. I would recommend Kayla to any bride at any stage of wedding planning.

As a venue owner, I recently worked with Kayla and Destiney on a styled photoshoot and I truly enjoyed every step of this experience with them! Kayla did a great job reaching out to all the vendors involved, sharing ideas, communicating info, setting up (and cleaning up!) and coordinating the shoot. Kayla & Destiney are absolutely a dream to work with. I'm a Spokane Wedding Photographer and I had the pleasure of working with them at a recent styled shoot they put on. Everything from start to finish was incredibly organized, well thought out and meticulously put together. They are both kind and welcoming and clearly go the extra mile for everything that they do. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit, a payment of 25% midway through planning, with final payment 2 weeks before the wedding day. Payments are made through HoneyBook which takes credit cards.

KJ Coordination has planned events since November 2020, serving over 30 couples. Owner, Kayla has planned 20 full-service events.

KJ Coordination believes education is an important part of the job. Kayla is a certified wedding planner, earning her CPD Certified Planning Certificate from Newskills Academy as well as completing The Union Program Mentorship from Wolfer & Co.

Short answer- only one. We find focusing our attention on one couple every week allows us to be the most attentive to your details and take on more to ensure your day remains stress-free.

KJ Coordination will book up to 2 years in advance for couples looking to hire us for wedding planning! We find most couples will book us for wedding management 8-12 months in advance.

In 2023, our couples had an average budget between $15k and $20k.In 2022, we saw roughly 30% of couples exceed their original budget. We saw this was due to not having a clear guide from the beginning. We implemented a visual budget tracker in our client portal which resulted in ALL couples staying below budget in 2023.
