We, The Light Photography

As two born and raised Coloradans who have photographed over 200+ couples in 100+ locations across Colorado, we specialize in creating a different kind of wedding day that is just as adventurous as you are. On average, couples book us for 8+ hours of coverage. During that time we help you design a day that is fun, intentional + a reflection of who you two are at the core. Want to hike to a high alpine lake? We'll give you trail options for that! Want to canoe along the banks of a mountain lake? We can tell you the best lakes to do it on! Want to watch the sunset from the top of the world? We’ll lead you to our favorite spots for sunset!

When you choose us to guide you through the process, you get wayyyy more than just a photographer.     Working with Larissa was a highlight of our wedding. She took the most stunning photos I have ever seen and made the day fun in the process. Not only that but she was helpful in planning our schedule of events to ensure we got all the photos we wanted! Larissa is amazing and you should absolutely have her as a part of your day!

    I absolutely love working with Larissa! We've done a few weddings together (I'm an officiant), and each one has been a breeze! She is highly professional while simultaneously making you feel immediately at ease, very communicative, and always finds the best spots to perform a wedding ceremony or elopement. Additionally, her photography is so beautiful and really captures the love of the couple and their families & friends. I wish I had known her when I was getting married! She is a true talent!

    Larissa is the. BEST. She is not only a seriously talented photographer, she is just a really amazing person too. I am so thankful that we booked Larissa for our engagement and wedding photos. She has a unique talent of making you feel completely relaxed and yourself, and this is apparent in all of our photos. She captured our genuine smiles, laughs, and tender moments--each photo feels completely organic. Larissa took the time to get to know us as a couple, (how we have fun, how we love each other, etc) and used that information to make our photos and experience with her perfectly tailored to us. I genuinely doubt any other photographer would have been able to take such beautiful, authentic, epic photos of us. Seriously. Plus we just had so much fun with her. And besides our actual photos, Larissa was the biggest source of relief on our wedding day. When rain was threatening our wedding, she assured us we would still get all the shots and everything would be okay. She helped wrangle our family, kept us on time, was game for all the couple (and alpaca) shots we wanted, among so many more things. And she was our biggest advocate on our wedding day. I can't count how many times I told my husband through our wedding planning and wedding day, "thank goodness for Larissa". And now that our wedding season is over, I am so grateful that I can count Larissa as my friend too. She is just too wonderful, fun and sweet. If you're debating whether to inquire with Larissa, just do it. Hands down, one of the best decisions of our whole wedding. She is the best.
