We are Jonathan + Ashley Vallosio, photographers + videographers in Indianapolis, IN, + the ones behind Vallosio Photo + Film. We document intimate weddings, adventure elopements, + lifestyle portraits through photos + videos. We serve couples + families in Indianapolis, central Indiana, + nationwide because we love to travel. We specialize in outdoor sessions that capture authentic, joyful, adventurous moments that are perfectly you. From quaint Midwest weddings to an elopement in the PNW or a couples session at your favorite state park, we will walk with you every step of the way to serve you well + create an experience you won't forget.
We love outdoor sessions, weddings, + elopements—some of the best things in life pique our imagination + desire to explore. Operating by leave no trace principles + sustainable practices at our sessions is the norm. The outdoors are for everyone + we have to leave it better than we found it. Be authentically you, dress how you want, + do something you love for your session. Editing is true-to-life with no extreme photoshopping because you’re amazing the way you are. No matter the color of your skin, the shape of your body, your background/experiences, or anything in between, we can't wait to meet you + create art that tells your love story.

The Best Duo for your Wedding Day!
You might think that the most important thing about your wedding photos would be how they look, and of course that is very important. But perhaps even more important is how you feel while the photos are being taken, since this is your wedding day after all and you want to enjoy the experience. With Ashley and Jonathan, we felt cared for and supported -- enough to trust their management of the photo timeline and focus on the joy of our wedding day and the people we love. No wedding day is perfect -- ours had a few challenges we couldn't control with weather concerns and timing coordination -- and that's exactly why you need capable, compassionate people like Ashley and Jonathan to help you shake off the stress and refocus on the joy. They specialize in outdoor photography, and since the weather is famously beyond human control, I can confidently say you will be in good hands with Vallosio Photo Film to make the best of any weather conditions.

If you are looking for a photography and videography team that will not only capture your day perfectly but also elevate your entire wedding experience, look no further than Ashley and Jonathan. The planning process itself was seamless and stress-free. From our very first conversation, the planning process with Ashley and Jonathan was incredibly smooth and reassuring. They were organized, highly responsive, and truly took the time to understand our vision, priorities, and timeline. Ashley created a very detailed photography timeline which I was able to utilize when making our ultimate wedding timeline. Instead of feeling like just another client, we felt completely heard and supported. They offered invaluable advice on timing and lighting, which took a massive amount of planning stress off our shoulders. What we enjoyed most about working with them was their dynamic as a team and their infectious positive energy. Because Ashley and Jonathan work so seamlessly together, there was never any awkward positions or clashing styles. They were completely in sync. They knew exactly how to direct us without making us feel stiff or staged, turning what could have been awkward photo sessions into genuine, fun moments. On the actual wedding day, Ashley and Jonathan were absolute game-changers. We felt incredibly relaxed, comfortable, and present in the moment. They came fully prepared and set up so quickly. They have a magical way of blending into the background to catch authentic, candid moments, while simultaneously stepping up to calmly command the crowd when it was time for family portraits (by the way - I’m convinced we hold the record for fastest family portraits taken because it was under 15 minutes LOL). They felt less like vendors and more like an hype man/woman and friends who just happened to be incredibly talented. When we received our final images and video, we were completely blown away. The quality, the coloring, the incredibly detailed shots, and the emotional depth of their work exceeded all of our expectations. Ashley captured the most stunning, timeless photos that we will cherish forever, and Jonathan’s videography perfectly bottled up the energy, tears, and laughter of the day. Watching the video and looking through the gallery felt like reliving the best day of our lives all over again. We would recommend Ashley and Jonathan a million times over! If you are on the fence, book them RIGHT NOW. What we would tell anyone considering them is this: Your wedding day goes by in a flash, but the memories they capture will last forever. Our Ideal Photographers!
We could not have asked for a better photographer for our December wedding. Ashley brought with her tons of experience, organization, personality, and an eye for beauty not just in nature, but also in interactions between people. We had Ashley take our engagement photos as well as photograph our wedding and immediately felt like we had chosen the right person (Actually, we wondered if we should just become best friends with Ashley and Jonathan). Ashley really took the time to get to know not just our shot list but also how we wanted our day to feel, how we feel about our relationship, and who we are as people. I believe that this information gathering allowed her to do an even better job. She helped to make the process of wedding planning more seamless, with helpful guides and information, consistent communication, planning meetings around photography timeline, and she collaborated super well with our other vendors. At the wedding, people consistently commented on how professional Ashley and Jonathan were and how much hustle they had, and the clear experience they brought to our event. I would gladly recommend Ashley and Jonathan to anybody looking for a wedding photographer, especially if you're a big fan of nature! I would also argue that you don't have to be a love nature; the photographs they took and the experience we had go beyond just photo shoots in nature.

The Only Photograhers You Should Pick!
Absolutely wonderful photographers to work with for our winter engagement session and fall wedding. Ashley is very professional, communicative, and so easy to get along with! Jonathan is such a calming, helpful presence that you can't help but feel at ease when they are taking photos. It's so nice to feel an immediate connection with your photographers that you will think you have met your two newest best friends! The photos are wonderful, especially the candid ones - they are really amazing at seeing a moment and capturing it in a second. Beautiful edits and quickly returned too! I wasn't sure how much I would truly like photos on myself, but each and every one reminds me of the incredible fun and love felt on those days. Love love LOVE Vallasio and will be using them for everything in the future 3
