The Vibrant

Lead Photographer

Bold, unique and VIBRANT photographers. Based in North Carolina and Colorado, but we love to travel anywhere! We are a team of THREE photographers who love LOVE! We can’t wait to work with you :) We focus heavily on a photojournalistic approach while ensuring our clients feel comfortable in front of the lens. We utilize external lighting and flashes to enhance images, while also mastering the art of natural lighting.

We have a collective of relevant experience ranging from journalism, event management and coordination, to customer service and marketing! Michelle, Michael and David have been working in the wedding industry for more than 13 years! Michael primarily services the CO area, while David and Michelle focus heavily on the Carolinas. Additional service areas include Michelle’s homeland of the Philadelphia and South Jersey areas, and all three of us are available for travel!

    If I could give the vibrant a million stars I would! Not only was everyone at my wedding impressed with Michelle’s energy and willingness to go above and beyond to get the best shot- but the photographs came out phenomenal. This team is so creative and hard working- I was so impressed with how quickly I got my sneak peaks and album. I will never hire or recommend another photographer…. Truly the best of the best.

    After an introductory video call with them, we decided we would love to work with one another! We ended up working with Michael, who shot our engagement/family photos, and our wedding! This experience was beyond my and my families expectations! It felt like Michael was one of our long standing friends form the moment we met. The other photographers he brought along to help were also an absolute joy, one even took over as DJ when ours had to leave! We had people coming up to us all night asking where we found them and even asked for their information afterwards. Michael was very kind as we had some photographers in the family who asked him questions all night and even let them take a few pictures. I highly recommends this company and the people who work in it! God truly answered my prayer and heard me when I asked for someone who would be able to capture the love and family bounds during our wedding! We love our photos can’t wait to get them printed!

    From our first meeting with The Vibrant we had no doubt that they were the photographers for us and would deliver stunning photos of our wedding day...and yet somehow they still managed to far exceed our expectations! We're not your typical bride and groom (I'm 55, he's 52) and our wedding was far from traditional...in fact, we chose a 76-year old dive bar as the location for our ceremony - a cool spot for sure, but not exactly an optimal setup or lighting for wedding photos. Oh, and then there's the unfortunate fact that I usually (unintentionally) make the most ridiculous facial expressions if I know someone's taking my picture... But somehow Michelle and David managed to work magic from behind their cameras on our wedding day, and we couldn't possibly be any happier with the results. They didn't just take pictures of our wedding and reception, rather they masterfully captured the day's spirit of love, laughter, fun, and funky uniqueness in a way that will preserve our memories of those moments forever. Almost as importantly, Michelle's and David's fun personalities and easygoing style put me so at ease that they even managed to get shots that made me feel beautiful, and what bride doesn't want that?     I did the stationary for a Raleigh wedding. Michelle sent me all the images styled beautifully, and I’ve been using them on my website! We’ve worked together on several other projects and she always delivers quality work. She’s a pleasure to work with, very professional and responsive. Highly recommend!
