My name is Cate Bligh! I am the founder and lead photographer at The Green Barn Wedding Photography LLC. My photography studio is based in Moultonborough, NH, and I specialize in everything wedding! From engagement photos to a traditional wedding ceremony to elopements to destination weddings. I am here to provide you with beautiful photography plus help with planning your big day every step of the way.

I am a local wedding photographer who loves New Hampshire. (Ask me about my favorite locations!) I frequently work around Lake Winnipesaukee and the White Mountains but also travel throughout NH, Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts. I call New England home but I am available for travel through the US. I describe my photography style as 'romantic storytelling'. It is a natural, unobtrusive way of photographing the day to capture moments as they happen. I deliver a mix of color and black & white photography to highlight the vibrancy of the day while showcasing the emotion.

Typically, couples book me about 13-24 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. If you are planning a pop-up wedding or elopement, reach out! There is the chance I am available – especially on Friday's or weekdays.
Yes, my all-day wedding collections include myself and a second photographer to ensure complete coverage of the day, no matter the size of your wedding. For more intimate weddings and elopements, I may be alone or only bring an assistant if it makes sense for the event.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look timeless and beautiful. I also offer complimentary retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for your wedding album and wall art prints.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only. Please reach out if you are looking for recommendations for a wedding videographer.
My turnaround time to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Engagement session dream shoots typically take 2-3 weeks.
You can expect about 50 to 80 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, the number of guests, venue type, bridal party size, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 6 years of experience as a full-time wedding photographer, I’ve never canceled or missed a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my 2nd photographer (who is essentially another "me.") I also have access to photographers from the many networking groups I’m in.
