I’m Tessa Brediger! I’m twenty-nine, living in Dayton, Ohio at the moment (but always moving thanks to the Air Force), married to my best friend Jake, a mom to the sweetest little boy named Will, and I’m a lover of: a good and smoky single malt Highland scotch, beautiful light, inclusivity, and punk rock (I never moved past my emo phase in high school). I’ve never met a dog I didn’t like. I don’t believe there’s a limit to the amount of pasta you can consume. I quote New Girl and The Good Place way too much. I have a lot of houseplants and always get sucked into buying more because I have no impulse control. I absolutely love, love.

I’ve been photographing weddings for ten years, this year. I studied journalism in college at Ohio University before moving to the wedding industry. The very first bullet point in the photojournalism code of ethics is to respect truth, however it presents itself and however it plays out with honesty. Honesty and truth and freedom and love. Those things should be the hallmarks of your wedding day. I’m here to help you see the beauty in the simple, the surprise in the unexpected, the joy in the freedom of letting go. I’m here to help you remember exactly how it felt.

    Tessa blew our expectations out of the water! She was an absolute gem on our wedding day! You can tell that photography for Tessa is so much more than a job. She is truly invested in each couple and wants your wedding to day to be everything you wished and more! Tessa was a great planner/communicator before the wedding day. She had a great questionairre that helped us plan the photos we wanted on the day. She was extremely fast to edit our photos! I think we received them one week after our wedding! She also created a montage video of all of our pictures which was the perfect way to show all of our friends and families our wedding photos! I was so impressed with her work. Especially our reception pictures were the best I've probably ever seen (reception photos I feel like are the most difficult to capture but she nailed it!) Our portraits were stunning! The small moments that meant the world to us, she captured. I love Tessa's style and creativity. She is incredibly talented and was amazing to work with! Highly recommended!

    We had the pleasure of working with Tessa for our engagement photos and on our wedding day! She helped us get a feel for what style of engagement photos we wanted and then got to work on researching locations for us. She found the perfect spot that offered various settings for lots of different looks. Fast forward to our wedding day-Tessa was super efficient, friendly, and worked great with our videographer. She was relaxed and calm which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. We got our gallery back in a timely manner and couldn’t have been happier with how she captured our day! We have received numerous compliments about the quality of her work. Overall, choosing Tessa as our photographer was a great decision and we wouldn’t have had it any other way!

    Tessa did our wedding last July and we absolutely love the way she captured all the special moments of our big day! She was so easy to work with and went out of her way to make sure that the photos truly represent us and our relationship. As a bride, I know I can speak for other brides and say that we spend months and months buying decor, planning, Pinterest surfing and envisioning what our wedding day will look like. I knew the exact look and feel I wanted for our wedding and it was so important to me that the right “feel” would translate in the photographs (because after all, in the end photos are the best form of tangible memories we have).. and I feel Tessa really was able to do this for us! The way she captured the details were really beautiful. Her style is very natural and unposed, which allowed true and intimate moments of the day show through. Her passion for not only photography but for seeing others in love, showed through as she even teared up during our first look! She’s a very thoughtful and artistic photographer.
