Sure Shot is a video and photography company that is dedicated to capturing the best moments of all your special events. By utilizing the latest in audio/visual equipment and software, we deliver a product of the highest quality. We are committed to crafting your video to reflect all of your personalized preferences. We specialize in Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and company holiday parties. We also have experience capturing live band concerts, commercials and even corporate videos. We offer FULL-LENGTH ceremonies. Not only "cinematic" videos or "highlight" videos. We offer FULL-LENGTH ceremonies along with all reception ceremonial events in FULL as well! Our videos also feature incredible audio! Our external audio recorders have auto-leveling features that make it easy to pick up lots of different types of voices, from the quiet to the loud. Perfect for your vows, ring exchange, speeches, etc. Everyone will be amazed when they watch the video and hear things they didn’t hear when they were at your wedding! We also include copyright releases with any photo gallery/package and Digital galleries never have watermarks.

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
As a husband and wife team we travel together always for weddings. We can add on photographers for a extra fee unless already included in your package.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Our turnaround time varies by season. Photo sneak peek’s/highlight videos are usually ready in about 4 to 8 weeks. Finished products are delivered between 12 and 16 weeks but can take up to 20 weeks during the busy season.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In our 15 years of experience as a wedding photographers/videographers, we've never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that we are unable to photograph/film your wedding, we'll make sure you’re covered by one of our colleagues or contracted assistant. We can also provide you with a list of photographers/videographers from the many networking groups we are in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
Yes, the only video package that does not come with a full video is our Cinematic Package.
A highlight reel or highlight video is a short (3-5 min) video with the best moments of your entire day set to music. (Your choice or we can pick for you)
This is a video that is usually about 8-10 minutes and is set to music of your choice. This video is unique to our highlight videos because it includes your vows and varies audio clips throughout your day (ceremony and reception footage included).
There are no fees within St. Louis Metro Area. Outside St. Louis, fees are $0.50 per mile.
Your full ceremony along with establishing shots of the ceremony location and decor, shots of you getting ready before the ceremony, and post ceremony shots (receiving line, exiting the ceremony and you getting your photos taken) Your video also includes shots in-between the ceremony and reception at varies locations. Your reception video includes all ceremonial events (entrance, cake cutting, toasts, 1st dance, father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, garter and bouquet toss) and establishing shots of the reception location and decor. Lastly, shots of everyone dancing throughout the night and any other fun events from the night.
Whatever the package says, 8-hour packages have 8 hours of "shooting" or "coverage". We at Sure Shot understand this is a full day experience. We are willing to stay till the end of the reception if you need us to for an additional fee.
Yes, we use multiple audio recorders, that we sync up to the video in the post-production process. We generally put 1 of our recorders on the groom with a lavaliere mic. It picks up the groom, bride and even the officiant. We also put another recorder on a podium stand to pick up readers. We also have another recorder to mic up any music or performers there might be.
To secure your date you will need to fill out and sign a contract with us. We also require a $200 deposit to book any date or event with us. You have until the date of your event to pay off the balance from there.
