Welcome! I’m Britt and I am the gal behind the lens at Render Photography. I love traveling, napping, embarrassing my kids, and horses, whiskey, and LOVE. My idea of a life well-lived is one where I get to help others see the love they have in their lives, and to give them something that helps them feel it and remember it more fiercely. I love stories and I’d love to help tell a chapter of yours.

My philosophy is to give you all the parts that a story needs, from establishing location and weather and mood — to every line on your list of family portraits — and to push you to connect in a REAL way in the images. Looking at your photographs later should make you hold tight to that person you’ve chosen to grow your roots with. My job is to help tell your story, tell the truth and tell it with all the beauty and emotion that’s already there. 13 years of practice helps, too :)

We cannot recommend Britt enough, or emphasize how grateful we are to have found Render Photography. From the first Zoom get-to-know-you meeting to our engagement session through to the big day, Britt was an absolute knowledgeable and helpful pro, helping us make decisions on key details like day-of timelines while exuding a warm, friendly style that helped my partner and I feel at ease in front of the camera (we both are naturally camera shy). Her ability to maintain a calm and chill demeanor through tight schedules while simultaneously wrangling our 18-person wedding party into looking like movie stars is honestly a superpower. I'm absolutely obsessed with how our photos turned out. They say that choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important choices you make, as they're likely the person you and your spouse spend the most time with on your wedding day. Britt is incredibly talented and such a nice person overall. When my wife & I started searching around for a professional photographer to take our vow renewal photos up at Black Beach, we were drawn to Britt’s photo style. She setup a call with us to talk over thoughts she had & asked us for our input on things. Britt was so easy-going during our photo shoot, we were laughing, talking about our trip to the area, just kept everything loose. She was patient as this was something new for us and had so many great ideas while she was setting us up for the photo shoots. You could sense her love for photography the entire time and I really felt like she was passionate about getting the best photos for our special time.
