Welcome! I’m Britt and I am the gal behind the lens at Render Photography. I love traveling, napping, embarrassing my kids, and horses, whiskey, and LOVE. My idea of a life well-lived is one where I get to help others see the love they have in their lives, and to give them something that helps them feel it and remember it more fiercely. I love stories and I’d love to help tell a chapter of yours.

My philosophy is to give you all the parts that a story needs, from establishing location and weather and mood — to every line on your list of family portraits — and to push you to connect in a REAL way in the images. Looking at your photographs later should make you hold tight to that person you’ve chosen to grow your roots with. My job is to help tell your story, tell the truth and tell it with all the beauty and emotion that’s already there. 13 years of practice helps, too :)

    I’ve worked with Britt in a few different capacities - mainly as her hair and makeup artist for her boudoir shoots. I’ve also been a client of hers for my own boudoir shoot and an amazing aerial arts photoshoot. Britt is incredibly talented and easy to work with. She keeps the mood light and comfortable and is fair in everything she does. Her communication is quick and clear and she always goes above and beyond.

    Stop looking for another photographer!!!! Just stop. Don't waste your time with anybody else, you want Britt from Render Photography. Britt has now photographed us on three separate occasions, including our wedding. We were married in the dead of Minnesota winter. She came prepared for indoor and outdoor photos and had fantastic ideas. She worked with us prior to the wedding to ensure that we got photos with all of our family members, which was very important to us. (Pro tip: make this list BEFORE your wedding day. Don't worry, Britt will remind you.) Not only does Britt have an amazing eye for light, but she will also help to pose you and your family/wedding party/friends/dogs to help accentuate your best looks. Read that again - yes, I said dogs. Britt works well with humans and just as well with furry friends. Britt was absolutely integral to the success of our wedding. Make no mistake, she's the reason we started on time. She's professional to the core while bringing a light and warm energy to any space she enters. Are you silly and light-hearted? She's got you. Are you dramatic and serious? No problem. When you work with one of the best in the business, your personality is captured regardless of how you emote. Give yourself the gift of beautifully captured memories by working with Britt. It will be one of the best decisions you make.

    As a venue, we search through every single photo we can find - always looking for opportunities to share past events with upcoming couples. Render photography stands amount amongst the rest with extremely gorgeous and elegant shots. Not to mention the professionalism! We couldn't recommend them enough for your big day!!
