Hi! I'm Cedric, the lead photographer behind MCDYphotography. What started as a creative outlet over a decade ago has grown into a full-blown passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. As someone who values genuine connection and storytelling, I approach every wedding with care, intention, and attention to detail. I believe photography should feel personal and timeless, something that brings you back to exactly how it felt in the moment. Based in Mankato, MN, I work closely with each couple to document their day in a way that reflects their story honestly and beautifully.

I bring a laid-back energy that helps couples feel comfortable, even if they're not used to being in front of the camera. I’m not just snapping pictures, I’m capturing real moments, big and small, with intention and style. Expect lots of laughs, good vibes, and a healthy dose of sarcasm along the way.     Working with Cedric was awesome from start to finish. He totally got our vibe and made the whole thing feel super easy. He cracked jokes, kept things light, and somehow managed to make two awkward people (us) look amazing in photos. The turnaround was quick (5 days), the quality was insane, and we’re just really happy we went with him. Highly recommend if you want someone who’s talented and just fun to have around on your big day.

    Cedric was seriously the best decision we made for our wedding. He made us feel super comfortable the whole time, like we weren’t even being photographed half the time (in a good way). He’s funny, laid-back, and somehow managed to capture all the little moments we didn’t even know were happening. The photos came out so good we’re obsessed.
