Hi, I'm Halie Vertrees. A published Wedding and Lifestyle photographer serving KY + beyond! I take pride in capturing emotion-filled, timeless, light, and colorful images. Over the years I have become a personal hype-woman, professional dress fluffier, and teary-eyed Father and Daughter Dance photog all while capturing candid moments of your wedding day.

A few fun facts about me: I was born and raised in Louisville, KY with a desire to travel the world, capture love, and try new foods everywhere I go. ⁣⁣⁣ My off nights include cuddling with my little KoKo Bean and binge watching Netflix. And, I tend to sweetly squeal over good lighting, I’m sure all of my clients can vouch for that. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

    I cannot recommend Halie enough!!! She did both our engagement and wedding pictures. Since day one of the whole process, she was AMAZING. She always offered guidance and support when I had no idea what I was doing. She was so professional, yet so comfortable. My husband and I hate getting pictures taken, but we both said immediately after our first session how natural Halie made it feel for us. Her fun & upbeat personality is contagious. Our wedding party, family, and guests all commented on how “great our photographer was.” I’ve heard countless times how the pictures she took “are some of the best I’ve ever seen.” Before having a wedding myself, I didn’t realize that a photographer becomes such a big part of your wedding day. That can be a bad thing if you pick the wrong one, but instead the opposite was true for us. Choosing Halie truly added so much happiness and love to our wedding day. She made our day that much more special. We LOVE Halie and HV photography!!

    Halie is an amazing photographer and person! I DJ’ed back to back weddings with her recently. I was super impressed with her positive energy and passion for capturing those special moments throughout the night. Not just the main things like first dance, cake cutting etc. But she was always on the lookout for those candid moments among guests and families. She was a pleasure to work with as a vendor and I can’t wait to work with her again!
