Lead Photographer

I created Emily Novara Photography, LLC because I believe that capturing the best day of your life deserves the same attention to detail that you put into planning it. I love meeting my couples, hearing all about their love stories, getting to know them - like truly getting to know them (most of my brides consider me one of their friends!). My brides trust I understand their vision and are able to enjoy their wedding day because of the communication leading up to it.

I believe in true love, in taking chances, and every love story is unique. I also love veil parties!! I’m here to capture your love story so you can share your wedding photos with your family for generations to come. That’s why I created The #NovaraBride Experience -a luxury engagement & wedding photography experience centered around and tailored specifically to each of my couples. I’ll let you know what to do with your hands, capture the candid moments, and ultimately become your photographer friend. After all, the best moments are captured when you’re comfortable around the camera, and you’re most relaxed around friends…so let’s be friends!

    I cannot say enough good things about Emily. We had an engagement session with her, and my fiancé said afterward that he actually had fun taking photos. The engagement session made us feel more comfortable taking posed photos and working with Emily. Ahead of the wedding Emily had great communication with us and always answered my emails promptly. On the day of our wedding Emily and her second photographer, Rob, showed up ahead of schedule and kept us on schedule the whole day with photos. She was extremely organized with the family photos and got them completed so quickly. We went to multiple locations for couples’ photos, and she always made sure that we got the photos and poses that we wanted. Her upbeat and energetic personality really keeps everyone engaged and multiple of our guests commented on how great our photographers were. We cannot wait to see the photos from the wedding (we’ve already gotten a sneak peek!) and have absolutely no doubt that they will be wonderful. I have zero regrets for booking Emily and would recommend her to any future bride.

    Emily is amazing!!! From our first zoom meeting we did (since we are not from the area), she made us feel comfortable and confident that she was the right fit for our wedding. Emily had so many creative ideas and fun ways to include our daughter to make this a great experience for all of us. She really took the time to build us the perfect package. She took down every single detail of the entire wedding so in case there was a hiccup ANYWHERE, she would be able to help. The day of the wedding, Emily just blended into the background and did a wonderful job capturing little moments as they happened. She even had us take some pictures in front of a truck because it happened to be in the parking lot and would make a cool photo. If we lived closer I can say that we would have used Emily for our engagement photos as well. someday we will make the trip back to do life update family photos with her again. She is an amazing photographer and hands down can’t speak highly enough about her. Nicole and TJ

    From the very beginning, Emily presents a professional and excited demeanor. She is organized, fun, calm, malleable, and a joy to work with. I play violin professionally for weddings and have worked with many frustrating and bad photographers, some charging way more than they really should for bad quality photos! Emily blew me away with her photographs, her planning of the schedule, her ease in working with family portraits (all done within 30 min with my cranky grandparents), and all without a second shooter or assistant!! She even sent us cute little gifts throughout engagement, and left us a little surprise for the wedding day. Her photographs will be displayed in our home forever, and we were so grateful she made our day that much more beautiful, easy, and fun!
