We’re Andrew and Marijo (pronounced mary•joe), a husband and wife team! Our style is bright, vibrant, nostalgic with a mix of candids and cinematic images. We love getting to know our couples before their big day! It helps us create more personal work that reflects your love. We hope you know that your love is special, and that we can see that it is. And that’s always how we’ll tell your story.

If you feel awkward in front of the camera and need direction, we got you! Our sessions are always fun and feel like a date night! So if you ever feel nervous, don’t worry. You’ll be hearing our voices the whole time through, cheering you on, making conversation, and keeping the atmosphere light. We’re here for you throughout your whole wedding journey. You’re not just getting a photographer. You’re getting a friend and an ally who wants to tell your story through images as true to you and yours.

    We worked with Marijo for our wedding this past May and she was wonderful! Our pre-wedding meeting went well, she asked a lot of questions about us as a couple and about what we wanted from our wedding photos, which we really liked because it gave us an idea about what our wedding day photography would be like, but also it showed that she is detail oriented. On the day of, she made my family as well as us really comfortable. Posing for photos can be very awkward, but she kept the mood light and made us laugh a lot which made for some really great, natural pictures. We took our couple photos at Pasadena City Hall on what must have been prom day for several high schools because the place was packed, but she managed to get us some really great, intimate shots away from other people taking photos. We really love how our pictures came out and are so excited to order some prints for ourselves and family. We highly recommend AM Badillo, and loved working with Marijo! She is sweet, friendly and very good at what she does.

    Marijo did our maternity photos and she did an AMAZING job. From the moment I reached out for a quote, she was super informative and patient with me as I asked for suggestions on locations, outfits, etc. Not only was customer service top tier, the photos and edits were STUNNING. I was absolutely taken aback and literally in tears with how amazing all the photos came out!! Throughout the entire photoshoot, she made it so effortless and she was so easy to work with. She made it so fun and made sure to guide us the whole way and made it easy to follow directions so we wouldn't look "posed" or awkward. The entire process from start to finish was so enjoyable and I would highly, highly recommend booking AM for your photoshoot or event! 10000/10! I can't rave about my experience enough. I am so happy with how everything turned out and everyone loves our photos.

    Loved all the images! We wanted mainly candid photos and only gave poor AM like 15 minutes of posed photos and they nailed it. We we able to spend the maximum amount of time with our guests, which is exactly what we wanted. We were able to fully be present in the moment and enjoy our wedding and still got stellar shots of the 2 of us! Very grateful.

    Working with Marijo for our engagement shoot and the day of our wedding was nothing short of ideal. Every single picture from our wedding is worthy of being hung up on a wall (I already have 2 up there!) I show anyone who is willing all of our pictures, making them revel the way I do at how beautiful each shot is. I get excited any time I get to show someone who has not seen them yet. We loved working with Marijo!
