Rabbi Jamie Field was ordained in 2024 from HUC-JIR in New York. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Jamie left the West Coast after high school to attend Boston University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. She loves creating the perfect wedding ceremony that ties together the stories of the couple with the offerings of the Jewish tradition. In her free time, she enjoys watching Jeopardy, looking for antiques, and perfecting her challah recipe.

Each love story is unique, and each wedding ceremony should be too. I want to hear about each moment that makes your love special, and will use Jewish ritual to create a ceremony that is meaningful, authentic, and speaks to you. I welcome multi-faith and LGBTQ+ couples under the chuppah.

    Best Rabbi Ever!

    I have the unique honor of having Rabbi Jamie Field as a close personal friend and it was a no brainer to have her officiate my wedding. Jamie is on top of it: incredibly organized, ahead of schedule, and communicative. She makes everything easy and fun, while still being professional. Her officiating was confident, inclusive, and so thoughtful. She helpfully explained Jewish tradition and built a community with my husband’s family, who was not Jewish. She also weaved personal elements of our love story into her sermon creatively, seamlesslessly, and with tasteful humor. Finally, she was able to adapt on her feet, making the crowd laugh as a surpassing gust of wind blew, and as my husband stomped on the glass a little too early lol. All in all, I would not hesitate to hire Jamie as an officiant.

    Thoughtful process and beautiful ceremony

    Jamie did a wonderful job officiating our wedding. Her officiating process was thoughtful, creating lots of space for her to understand what we wanted out of the ceremony and who what is special about our relationship. She was extremely organized throughout the process, so by the time the wedding day came around, we were 100% confident that Jamie was taking care of everything. On the day of the wedding itself, both our Ketubah signing and wedding ceremony were beautiful services. We are so grateful to Jamie for making our wedding as perfect as it was, and we will cherish the memories of her officiating for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Jamie!

    Rabbi Jamie is Incredible!!

    Rabbi Jamie officiated our wedding, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. What stood out most was the level of organization and professionalism. Every detail of the ceremony was planned and coordinated with care, so nothing felt left to chance. Rabbi Jamie was very intentional about creating several checkpoints throughout the process and communicating every step of the way. But beyond the logistics, Rabbi Jamie took real time to understand what Mariel and I wanted and needed, and brought a genuine empathy that made the ceremony feel deeply personal. That thoughtfulness and attentiveness made all the difference on our day. Our families still talk about how beautiful the ceremony was! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an officiant who combines skill with real heart.

    Warm Professionalism Rabbi Field

    Our wedding was planned and put together fairly quickly, and we had some unique needs for our ceremony. Rabbi Field was with us every step of the way, helped us feel confident and comfortable that everything for the ceremony was well in hand and performed a beautiful intimate ceremony that hand us and everyone else in tears.
