Can we personalize our ceremony?

Absolutely! We love it when couples choose our fully customizable ceremony, "Your Ceremony." With this option, our couples can choose from a selection of samples and options. Each part is fully customizable, and with over 20 years of officiating experience, we work closely with our couples to create the perfect ceremony. Examples of customizing your ceremony: * Your personal Love Story * Unity Handfolding Ceremony or Hand-Joining Ceremony * A small memorial (honoring a loved one) * Love Letter and/or Wine Box Ceremony * Etc. This ceremony option (as with our others) includes consultations, marriage license assistance, signing, and filing.

We’re legally married already. Can you still do our ceremony?

Question 4

Do you provide or require premarital counseling?

We do not require it, but we do offer premarital coaching. Our couples who do this love it! It's not boring or awkward. It's a series of helpful conversations that help our couples improve communication and connection in new, fresh ways, and it's actually a lot of fun.

How many weddings have you done?

Every couple is important to us and truly unique, and it is always a joy and an honor to officiate their ceremony. After more than 25 years of celebrating love, we’ve happily lost count of how many ceremonies we’ve led! These days, we typically officiate between 10 and 14 weddings each month.

Question 6

Do you do rehearsals? Is that included in your cost?

A rehearsal is not included; an extra fee applies. The rehearsal not only offers essential instruction, but it also gives the couple peace of mind. A rehearsal with us is recommended if you have a bridal party, and especially if you do not have a coordinator. These days, your coordinator typically handles the essential items for rehearsal: the processional, where the immediate family will sit, where the bridal party will stand, and the recessional. We offer our couples as many consultations as they want as we prepare for their ceremony. We also guide everyone throughout the entire ceremony. Our ceremonies always go really well!

Do you assist with the marriage license?

Yes, we help you with all legal stuff. We guide you through the application process and take care of completing and filing it after the ceremony. We also offer a Marriage License by Mail option, which allows you to skip the courthouse entirely!

Where do you officate wedding ceremonies?

Heath is an ordained minister and notary. As one of the most experienced officiants in the Tampa Bay Area (over 20 years!), Pastor Heath Weddings has officiated ceremonies in churches, resorts, private homes, community centers, theme parks, banquet halls, beaches, clubs, boats, bars, you name it! Heath and his seasoned officiant associates can make any location work, and we always count it an immense privilege to be a part of one of life’s most joyous occasions!

Does Pastor Heath Weddings travel?

Yes. We regularly travel outside the immediate Tampa area. We have also officiated wedding ceremonies in other states and abroad. Travel fees apply for ceremonies held outside the immediate Tampa Bay area.
