Living Rituals

Since being ordained in 1990, I’ve officiated at hundreds of weddings – from huge to small. I’ve led weddings with traditional organ music and weddings with children singing in a meadow; interfaith services and same-sex ceremonies. I enjoy getting to know you so that I can help you plan the ceremony to say what you want to say, with readings and music and rituals that evoke your values. I can guide you through the process of writing your own vows, help you choose vows from traditional to contemporary, or write vows for you.

On this special day, you are going to take time to plan every detail carefully – your clothes and decorations, your guest list and reception. Don’t you want a ceremony that reflects the same kind of care? My years of experience providing a wide multitude of types of weddings allows me to help you envision your perfect day. My other job - as a counselor! - means that I listen closely to your needs and desires and can help you manage any anxiety you may have as you move through the process of planning.
