The Kayla Effect was born from a passion for art. I have always loved using the gifts God has given me. From drawing with pencils, to acrylics, to selling masterpieces of oil paintings, now to enhancing beauty with makeup! As a professional makeup artist, I believe makeup is more than products. It's seeing the look on brides faces when they look in the mirror after my glam. It's the conversations, and bringing a sense of peace to the bride on what might be a day full of nerves. It's finding and enhancing the individuality and uniqueness of each and every person that sits in my chair. I love my job, and I hope you will love your makeup!

The Kayla Effect takes on a personalized approach. Not just applying makeup, but taking time to understand each clients personality, features, and wants, so every look feels made authentic towards them. While many artists focus on trends, Kayla is skilled in all areas of makeup, and executes what the bride truly wants.     I absolutely adore Kayla. She has such a calming, yet fun presence. I felt totally comfortable telling her exactly what I want and don't want, and she executed it perfectly.
