Hi! My name is Alaina and I have been a makeup artist professionally for just over 10 years and also have been a licensed Esthetician in NC since 2010- Proud Aveda Alumni! I LOVE meeting new people and helping them feel and look their best, while also making it a comfy and safe experience for you! When you LOOK good, you FEEL good. And I truly believe that. I specialize in natural bridal and special event makeup, and have been known to go a little crazy for Halloween too. Fun facts: I'm a busy dog mom of 4, and when I'm not doing makeup looks, you could probably find me rappelling down a mountain or hiking on a trail.

I am a licensed Esthetician (basically a skincare guru)- and have been in the beauty industry for over 10 years! Having worked with multiple skin types and tones over the years, I am confident we can achieve your dream wedding day look together!

    I hired Alaina as my hair and makeup artist for my October 2025 wedding and I absolutely could not have found or asked for anyone better!! Her talent, patience, kindness, and professionalism exceeded my expectations and I cannot recommend her enough. We did a H/MU trial a few months before the big day and I changed my mind on quite a few things I said I originally wanted. Alaina was so flexible and patient with me and had a lot of knowledge on how to make my vision come to life and she knocked it out of the park! Alaina and her assistant also did H/MU for my entire bridal party and all of my girls were so impressed with their work, one of my bridesmaids even said she loved her look more that day than she did at her own wedding and wished she had found Starlit sooner! Alaina’s presence really helped calm my nerves and made the morning so carefree, fun, and unforgettable. She is such a sweetheart and I can’t speak highly enough of her!
