Katie Narum HMUA

After attending college for a year for a degree in psychology I knew I wanted to help people but not in the way that a psychologist does. I wanted to connect creatively with people and found that within the beauty industry. When I do a makeup looks I strive to satisfy and exceed expectations to help people feel their absolute best and most confident. I went to Stacey James Institute to become a cosmetologist and fell in love with the fashion shows we attended. I knew I wanted to do something like that. After graduating I worked in a salon and learned all I could there.

Kaylee Kinman and I started Duality Studio Works where we take on all sorts of hair and makeup projects from production all the way to weddings. We love what we do! We still do things as a team on many occasions but I'm ready to throw myself into the deep end and do things on my own. Outside of hair and makeup I'm an avid artist I love to paint and do graphic design. I spend my free time relaxing with my significant other and our 4 lovely pets.
