I've been a henna artist since I was a teenager. I grew up with henna. My mom, Shakun Maheshwari of Shakuntala Design, was the first henna artist in MN. We used to attend so many local fairs and shows, and had to coax people to give henna a try in the 80's and early 90's. My grandmother, my sister, my nieces, have all been a part of our henna booths - and it is truly a family tradition for us.

Though we have learned various styles and can offer a range of henna services, most of our business is focused on weddings and natural henna. We love being a part of the celebration - and do our best to make it enjoyable. We offer a range of packages and will help advise you on the best way to help you enjoy your henna experience. We use natural henna that we import from Rajasthan, and mix it ourselves to give you a fresh product and a beautiful stain. If you want - we can decorate for your henna celebration (and your wedding) as well!
