    Worst Experience and pressured for more money

    I booked hair and makeup services through Diana Persia for my wedding in Philadelphia for two days for 600, plus a 100 tip. At first, the price seemed reasonable, but this turned into one of the most stressful vendor experiences of my wedding. One major red flag from the beginning was that I was encouraged to pay through Zelle, which offers little buyer protection. I insisted on paying by credit card because I wanted protection if anything went wrong, and I’m extremely glad I did. I was originally told one beautician would be coming, but a different beautician was sent instead. On the first day, the beautician was pleasant to my face and did a good job with my makeup, but my hair was a major disappointment. She redid my hair twice, but the curls still would not stay. For a wedding event, that was frustrating and stressful. When I raised concerns, I felt dismissed with comments about my hair being “heavy,” which felt more like excuses than professionalism. Later, I found out the beautician complained that I had somehow “taken advantage” of her services, which was upsetting considering I was simply expecting the services I paid for. Then that same night, Diana texted me demanding more money and said that if I wanted the beautician to return the next day, I needed to send additional payment. This was never part of our original agreement. I did not send more money because I had already paid for two full days of service. As a result, the beautician never showed up on the second day, despite that day already being paid for. This left me without the contracted service during my wedding events and caused unnecessary panic and disappointment. Afterward, Diana ignored my messages for about 10 days while I tried to resolve this professionally. I even told her she could simply break the contract and refund me, but there was no proper response. Only after I filed a dispute with my credit card company did Diana suddenly respond, asking me to stay quiet and promising a refund. Thankfully, because I used a credit card instead of Zelle, I had buyer protection, and my credit card company helped me recover the money for the day of service that was never provided. This experience added avoidable stress to what should have been one of the happiest times of my life. No bride should have to deal with last-minute demands for extra money, service withholding, ignored communication, or pressure to stay quiet after filing a dispute. My honest advice: avoid middlemen or online coordinators who push unreliable payment methods like Zelle or change terms after payment. Book directly with a reputable salon or beautician with a physical business presence, clear contracts, and accountability. And always use a protected payment method. I’m sharing this because I want future brides to recognize these warning signs before it happens to them. Your wedding day is too important to risk with unreliable business practices.

    Dana and Courtney made my hair and makeup ideas come to life in the most spectacular way possible. From coming to YOU, to listening to your thoughts and ideas, their professionalism was incredible. Myself and the MOB had a trial run, our honest feedback was noted and incorporated into the big day-each of my bridal party members were breathtakingly beautiful when it was time to get dressed. My artist, Courtney was amazing; Dana, from start to finish was easily accessible by email/phone, and she never kept you guessing as to your timelines for the day. She even included in her emails a “Wedding Day Prep Sheet,” to make the big day that much easier with no stress or drama. She even filled in when one of her artists got sick-her knowledge of style, and business was beyond reproach. I would recommend Beautiful Brides Florida and Dana Persia with no hesitation whatsoever-I was beyond thrilled!

    Dana and her team were phenomenal. The girls were accommodating, understanding and incredible. Great communication with Dana. Highly recommend!
