At Willow River Blooms, we believe wedding flowers should feel as personal and unforgettable as the love story they celebrate. As a boutique, by-appointment studio based in western Wisconsin, we focus entirely on custom weddings and events. From lush bouquets to statement installations, each design is crafted with care, creativity, and intention. Every petal reflects your unique style and story, brought to life by owner and lead floral designer Julie Domres, who pours heart and artistry into every celebration.

Every couple receives our full attention and care. Because we’re a by-appointment studio, your wedding is never just another event, it’s a deeply personal collaboration. We take the time to truly get to know you so we can share your vision and bring it beautifully to life. Throughout the planning process, we’ll share inspiration photos and a detailed proposal to ensure every detail feels just right - and that your wedding flowers are everything you dreamed of (and maybe even better!).     Fall Wedding Flowers!

    We were absolutely blown away by the stunning florals at our wedding — all thanks to the incredible talent of Julie Domres of Willow River Blooms. Every single detail was more beautiful than we could have imagined. The fall theme came to life with the perfect combination of autumn colors. From the bridal bouquet to the ceremony's pumpkin centerpiece and all the reception accents, everything felt so warm, vibrant, and festive! Guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was, and we truly felt surrounded by your creativity, care, and love. Julie, thank you for pouring your heart into our day!

We are located in New Richmond, WI, which is on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin. We work in Western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities metro area of Minnesota.
We don’t require a minimum order size. However, if you’d like to reserve Willow River Blooms as your exclusive florist for the day, a minimum order of $1,500 is required. This ensures that your wedding or event receives our full attention and that we do not book any other events on your date.
Consultations can be done in-person or virtually and last approximately 1 hour but can take up to 2 for larger weddings. Please be prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, as well as any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. This can include images of your venue, photos of your wedding attire, fabric swatches, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out at least 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
Yes we can! We can discuss this in detail at your wedding consultation.
AHHHH, now THIS is the magic question everyone wants to know the answer to! And the answer is, it really depends on so many factors: From the number of arrangements you need, to the flowers you choose, to the scope of the delivery and set up on the big day. There really is no cookie cutter answer to this question. We can say that the average weddings we create typically range from $2500 - $5000 and up.
The deposit is $250 for weddings and events under $2500. Over $2500 the deposit is $500. This deposit reserves your date for you and is then applied to the final balance, which is due when we finalize your order approximately 3-4 weeks prior to your event.
No, we do not have a store front. We are a home-based studio and work by appointment only. Appointments are held in a location of your choosing, and can be held at our studio, at your home, virtually, or in a mutually agreed upon location (ie: local coffee shops)
Yes you can! We know that wedding and event planning details are ever-evolving and that changes are often necessary as details come together. You can make changes to your order up until we finalize the details, which will happen approximately 3-4 weeks prior to your event. At this point we must finalize and place our orders with our suppliers, so no further changes can be made. Don’t sweat it though… if you realize you forgot Aunt Betty’s corsage a couple of days prior to the big day, we got you!
