Thistle and Vine
Edit: we moved towns to increase our walk ins and changed our name to Lydias Lavender Lane. The name change was due to wanting to honor the memory of my Granddaughter Lydia who graced this earth with her presence for 12 short hours but made a big impact on our lives. Check us out over there on that Zola listing! We’d love to be a part of your big day! Opened in 2016, Thistle & Vine has became a staple in the small rural town of Ider, Alabama. We have done weddings for both locals as well as out of towners who dropped in to have a destination wedding! We thrive on creativity and love when a Bride brings us unique ideas!
Our motto is “Small Town Florist making Big City Arrangements”. We strive to make sure our wedding florals are Big and Bold, something you’d never expect a small town florist to make! We have experience in creating florals both classic and traditional to boho and wild!

I highly recommend Thistle & Vine
I have purchased and ordered several things from Thistle and Vine over the years, and have NEVER been disappointed. I just knew they would be the perfect choice for my wedding florist and I was right. Right from the start they understood my vision and the finished product was all I could have ever wanted. I had my fairytale wedding and a lot of that had to do with the beautiful work that Thistle and Vine did. From the colors to all the special touches that I requested they did it all perfectly. I had asked them to incorporate some feathers that were special to me as well as a necklace that held my grandfathers ashes. They incorporated the feathers not only in my bouquet, but throughout the reception florals as well! The necklace they wrapped around my bouquet and it just made my bouquet that much more spectacular! My wedding flowers were just as meaningful as they was beautiful. Once again I am so grateful that I choose thistle and vine. I will continue to use them for all my future florist needs.
