Bridget opened her 1st flower shop at the young age of 9. Many childhood afternoons were spent clearing out her bedroom closet to create her dream store. Summer afternoons were spent arranging silk flowers she found around the house and picking dandelions (the “pretty” weeds) from the garden to sell to her family and stuffed animals. In the years that have followed that first flower shop, Bridget has gained the necessary skills, experience and credentials to bring her childhood dream into reality. Bridget has over 20 years of Floral Design experience in flower shops spanning several states before opening Pretty Petals by Bridget in 2010.

Bridget will help you create the atmosphere you wish for your event through flowers whether it is elegant, modern or rustic. She is your contact point from idea conception to the day of the event. She is the one who will order the flowers you decided on, check to make sure that when the flowers arrive they are perfect and creates the bouquets and centerpieces you talked about in your first consultation herself...so nothing gets lost in translation. Pretty Petals by Bridget uses the freshest and most beautiful flowers for your event. This meticulous attention to detail results in the gorgeous bouquets you expect from a professional.

    BEST EXPERIENCE!!!

    Bridget was absolutely a joy to work with from the first meeting. She created the most beautiful bridal bouquets and table centerpieces for my daughters wedding. We also had a unique request to use the flowers from our gardens in the arrangements. Bridget was positive, creative, accommodating, and her attention to detail made all the difference.

    Couldn't of asked for more

    The flowers Bridget put together was absolutely amazing. With just the wedding colors and a few questions she was able to put together 2 beautiful bouquets, an beautiful head table center piece and accents for the other tables. They were exactly what we pictured in our heads and brought together the wedding in a way I did not know we needed. Couldn’t be happier with what we received.

We have a $500 minimum for custom floral pieces. Bouquets in this price range tend to be single flower bouquets, like all roses or all hydrangeas. We typically see budgets of $1000-1500 for a ceremony needing only personal flowers (bridal bouquet, 3-5 bridesmaids, and boutonnières for the groom and groomsmen. If you are looking for ceremony or reception floral arrangements, the budget we typically see in between $2000-3000. Of course, these prices can change and differ depending on what you are looking for and we are happy to work with each couple to get flowers they love within the budget they need to stay within.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you have wedding colors you would like to incorporate in the flowers? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day, but we are happy to work with couples even if there is short notice.
Consultations last approximately 1 hour but can take up to 2 for larger weddings. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget & style, as well as any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. This can include images of your venue, photos of your attire, fabric swatches, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more info & ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. Also, if you plan on using your own containers, please bring them so we can evaluate and give you an accurate quote based on their size. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices and email it to you.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services within the Twin Cities metro. Drop off delivery fees are based on distance of delivery. Set up and breakdown services are based on the complexity of the setup. We will go over those details with you during your consultation once we know more about your needs.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception for an additional fee.
