EPHEMIRUS is a floral design studio based in Boston serving New England and afar. My goal is twofold:Â 1. to design thoughtful event + wedding fleurs that authentically capture and celebrate a moment in time 2. to create an intimate, immersive, and unique experience where my clients feel taken cared of and amazed With an emphasis on local and foraged florals, EPHEMIRUS celebrates seasonality and space. Like cooking, we know the quality of each ingredient is paramount to achieving the final vision. It's important that my work is intentional, intuitive and visually stunning. I want my florals to always feel like a thoughtful gift.
I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and a multifaceted career path in the arts, documentary photography, gardening + landscaping. All experiences that inform the design process. EPHEMIRUS has a deep commitment to the natural world. When achievable, we source from local gardens + farms and forage from the landscape around us. We believe telling the story while showcasing the New England terroir is what makes floral design so special. We strive to use foam-free and other eco-friendly mechanics in our designs.

Simply the BEST!
Working with Ephemirus was amazing. Cailla is incredibly kind, responsive, and creative in her approach to wedding flowers. She took the time to understand our vision and style, offering unique and stunning floral arrangements that truly reflected the Mediteranean Garden Party vibe we were going for. Her relaxed yet professional demeanor put us at ease throughout the planning process, and the final product was nothing short of breathtaking - a work of art that exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have been happier with the exceptional quality of Ephemirus' services, and would highly recommend to any couple looking for a truly special floral experience!
Beautiful bright florals!
We were thrilled with the floral arrangements and grounded arbor that Ephemirus created for our wedding day! Cailla listened to our vision, and helped bring it to life. The bright, vibrant colors of the bouquets, boutonnieres were exactly what we wanted! The grounded arbor on the lawn was simply gorgeous - the perfect backdrop for our ceremony that we later converted to our sweetheart table and entry way florals.
Amazing communication and florals!
Working with Cailla at Ephemirus was a great experience! From the beginning, she listened to our vision and provided great insights on what would work best. Coming from someone who knows little about floral work, she was incredibly helpful throughout the process, and put us at ease about how everything would come together! She even constructed a mandap for our Hindu-fusion ceremony, which was a difficult element to plan. Her florals speak for themselves with how beautiful they were - not only did we love them, so did our family and friends!
Professional and SO TALENTED!
We chose Cailla on the recommendation of our wedding venue coordinator and feel so lucky to have found her! She was professional, easy to work with, and such a TALENT! She was able to take our vague artistic vision and produce gorgeous florals that incorporated and elevated it. The bouquets, arbor, and cake decor that she made for us were dynamic, whimsical, balanced, and brought just the right amount of drama. Seriously, having an artist like Cailla craft something special for us was one of the best parts of the wedding.
