Live Wedding Painting by Jules

I selected Jules to Live paint a wedding portrait as a gift for my son’s destination wedding in Maui and could not be more pleased with that decision. From start to finish she has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She communicated consistently throughout the process right up until the day of the wedding, and she fit in seamlessly at the event. She engaged the adults and the children throughout the evening and made everyone’s attention to her process a joyful encounter. I cannot recommend having Jules as a live wedding painter or event painter enough. I am hoping to have the opportunity to work with her again in the future.

Jules is an incredible artist, but what makes her truly special is her ability to inspire creativity in others. We met her during her artist residency at the Ritz-Carlton Maui, where she invited guests to help paint a beautiful surfboard mural. The finished surfboard was stunning, but the memories of creating it together were even more meaningful. Our entire family loved the experience—especially my kids. Watching them get so excited about painting and expressing themselves was something I’ll never forget. What I didn’t expect was how much it would impact me personally. Jules reignited a creative spark that had been dormant for years. After returning home, I picked up a paintbrush for the first time in a long time, and I haven’t stopped painting since. More than six months later, creating art has become one of the most fulfilling parts of my life, and it all traces back to that afternoon with Jules. That’s the gift Jules has. She doesn’t just create beautiful artwork—she inspires other people to discover the artist within themselves. If you ever have the opportunity to experience one of her workshops, collaborations, or projects, don’t hesitate. It’s far more than an art class; it’s an experience that stays with you long after the paint has dried.

Jules is a gifted and professional artist. We hired Jules to paint two murals for our healing space. Jules managed the timeline, our expectations, and the execution beautifully!! We get compliments on her work every single day. The best part? Working with her is a dream. I’m only sad it’s over because I don’t have an excuse to see her work everyday as she does her magic.
