    We booked Dance Factory for our first dance lessons and couldn't have been happier with how easy the whole process was. They came right to our house for the lessons and took time to understand exactly what we wanted, then walked us through each move with care. After we ran through the routine, they gave us helpful feedback and and suggestions kept us pumped up the entire time. On our wedding day we felt confident dancing in front of all our guests thanks to their encouragement and guidance. We had very little dance experience, but our instructor (Lee) broke everything down into simple steps and didn't make us feel rushed or stressed about learning. Yes, we intentionally schedule lessons so that each couple has exclusive use of the studio for privacy and comfort.
You can choose to have a choreographed routine OR learn various dance patterns and combinations. In either choice, you'll feel confident and natural. This helps you to look relaxed and good on the dance floor.
These are the best ways to get started: 1. special sources of inspiration like the place of your first date, 2. your favorite movie soundtrack, and 3. a classic first dance song or its remix. You can also have a unique mix of two different songs or choose your favorite song even if it is unconventional. We'll help you personalize your first dance to your song.
It depends on how long your first dance is. If your first dance is one to two minutes long, you may need only 1 to 3 lessons. It also depends on whether you have the time to practice on your own. We record the steps after each lesson to help our couples practice. A little practice goes a long way.
Yes, we offer packages for 3, 4 or 5 lessons. Parents are welcome to share a package to enjoy the lowest rates.
