I have a passion for hospitality, outstanding service, and changing the reputation of wedding food... it can be memorable and delicious! I have spent over 20 years in gourmet kitchens across the world. When I came to Texas in 2009 I fell in love with Southern cuisine. After many years in luxury hotels across DFW, in 2016 I created Tex-Med cuisine (modern Mediterranean with a Texan twist) which combines the food of my homeland with the flavors of Texas. My wife, Stephanie, and I opened Ferah Tex-Med Kitchen in 2019 and began offering catering services shortly after.

We are a chef-owned restaurant and catering company with locations in Garland and Southlake, Texas which allows us to service the large DFW metroplex. Our team of chefs are classically trained in a variety of gourmet cuisines and started their careers in luxury resorts around the world. Our background in hospitality means that we are experts in crafting custom menus and coordinating event logistics. Our goal is to take the stress out of your food and beverage service.

    Our experience with Ferah Catering was absolutely wonderful! We received tons of compliments on the food, both the dinner and desserts, the servers were prompt and friendly, and Chef Burak and his team were wonderful and able to be a bit flexible when we pushed dinner up by 15 minutes. We also received compliments from our venue staff, saying that you were wonderful to work with even before the wedding. Frankly, I don't know of anything that would have made it better and I'm excited to be able to tell everyone about Ferah's restaurant locations because there were tons of tasty things we didn't include at our event. :D

    I’ve seen many caterers for different events over the years but Ferah was by far the best. They were my wedding caterer and it was so easy to work with them. The fact that they offer catering and bar services really put my mind at ease and took off a lot of stress when it came to planning! I will forever recommend them!

    Ferah Catering and Events was by far our favorite vendor to work with for our special day. Chef Burak and Stephanie took care of everything, and they made us feel so much at ease regarding the catering that this was one part of wedding planning that we didn’t have to worry about at all. They were very easy to work with and very responsive to all of my questions leading up to our wedding. On the day of the wedding, they went above and beyond on making sure all the guests received their food hot and quick. We still have people commenting on how delicious our food was; that made us super happy. We were very impressed with their professionalism throughout the whole process, and we can’t imagine our wedding without them. Thank you Chef Burak, Stephanie, and the whole team for the best experience.
