How did I get here? I attended The Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California and graduated with my associate in Baking and Pastry Arts in 2013. From there I moved to Los Angeles where I’ve worked at some of the best bakeries and cake shops as a custom cake decorator. I moved back to Exeter in 2020 and opened my commercial bakery location in 2023.

I'm so happy to bring all my skill and knowledge back to my hometown and share it with you all. I am so passionate about my business and I love creating cakes that are both beautiful and delicious. I use all fresh and quality ingredients. I specialized in buttercream and fondant cakes. Can't wait to create your dream wedding cake!

    Flour Petal Cakes made our wedding cake, and it was absolutely GORGEOUS and perfect! Shandell was able to take our crazy ideas and turn them into a masterpiece. We love peanut butter, so we chose the peanut butter cake with chocolate ganache and peanut butter buttercream, and our guests STILL talk about how amazing it was. Couldn't be happier!

    Our wedding cake was absolutely gorgeous and had the right amount of color and texture. It was just so pretty to look at. I almost did not want to cut into it. I’m so grateful to have a professional cake artist here in the Central Valley. Shandell makes the kind of cakes that you see on Food network or TLC.
