DO NOT HIRE THIS PLACE
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We paid 500 for cold sparks that he is not even licensed to do... learned that prior to walking down the aisle! He was scrambling to do the dancing on the clouds machine towards the end of our first dance rather than as we were walking out and into the first dance like we had planned for. We specifically said no guest requests and to only play from our 7 hour playlist... he played at maximum 5 songs from our playlist and the rest of the reception he freestyled his own music and took guests requests. We had a strict planning of our day a week before our wedding in which Rich Kenny went against completely. After the wedding we tried to come to a reasonable refund amount for the services we literally did not get and he offered less than what we paid for and made up things that were not on the contract. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional this company is. Literally don't even waste your time and money on this joke of a DJ.

Thank you for your feedback. We take this seriously and want to clarify a few facts. The Venue Tampa Garden Club requires that cold sparks be run by a licensed professional with fire permits pulled, and no sparklers/fireworks are allowed inside. These requirements were not asked prior to the event by the venue, planner/coordinator and the couple with whom we were under contract for. These requirements and documentation are due 45 days prior to the event. Dancing on the Clouds was indicated on the planning forms completed by Crystal C. and was executed for the first dance. With a photo posted on instagram to prove. We also have over 90 minutes of recordings and playlist history showing that a significant portion of the provided playlist was played. Toward the end of the night, a request was made by Crystal C.’s mother. We honored the request. We apologize for playing a song that your mother requested. We’re happy to discuss this directly and review documentation together.

Best DJ – Highly recommend!
Richy did an incredible job at our wedding! We had the coldest and windiest outdoor ceremony, and during the reception we made a last-minute decision to move everything inside. Within minutes, Richy had the music set up and the party going like nothing happened. As both a wedding planner and the bride, I truly appreciated how quickly and professionally he handled the transition. He kept the energy high all night. Being a Hispanic-American wedding, he perfectly mixed the music and had everyone on the dance floor from start to finish. So grateful for his flexibility, talent, and amazing vibe. Highly recommend Tampa Event Group!

Best DJ in Tampa Bay
Rich was the best DJ we could have asked for. He is super easy to communicate with and made it really easy to put in all our request and songs we wanted played. It was super important for us to have a fun dance floor that could include everyone from family to friends and that is exactly what we got! I still have people telling me months later that we had the best dance floor vibe they’ve ever seen at a wedding!! So thankful for Rich & everything he brings to the wedding atmosphere and how much he cares about curating your perfect day.
