Lifepoint Chapel was built shortly after the end of the Civil War in 1869, and its earliest features have endured: 19th-century windows, white pine flooring, ornamental ceilings, and even the original church bell! Stone Chalet is a great place to have and to hold your wedding, reception and rehearsal dinner. When you rent the entire facility you'll have complete privacy and connection with your closest family and friends. Stone Chalet is only available for weddings under 100. The spaces at Stone Chalet are very flexible and each wedding party has shown us how creative people can be with the use of all the spaces. Situated on seven acres of woods and gardens in Oakland County, Michigan, our 1853 registered historic wedding chapel (and meeting house), is the oldest church building in Farmington Michigan, and offers an intimate and peaceful setting for your most important life events. Surrounded by woods and gardens, our building sits in a pastoral setting that is conveniently close to urban amenities. With seating for up to 200 guests, our charming, New England-style meeting house provides a warm space for your most special day. Our gathering hall has space for smaller wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal or baby showers, with seating up to 74 people.

Plan your wedding on the charming grounds or in the historic 1845 New School church. With exclusive use of Mill Race Village, your wedding can be held any time of the year. In the Church or outside in the gazebo, weather permitting, your ceremony will be a memorable event in this picturesque Victorian setting. A Village Representative will be with you during your event to open and close the church and to keep the public off the grounds of the Village while your wedding is in progress, ensuring your privacy. Couples must provide their own clergy or officiant to perform their ceremony. Decorating the wedding site and clean up of the site is the responsibility of the couple. If you're planning an outdoor event for your wedding the Church is available for use in case of inclement weather.

At Farmington Co-Work you will be able to book a session online and meet with your clients at your own convenience. When you book a time slot, the place is entirely yours. Built in 1861, the building started as a hotel & storefront– soon after completion the Civil War began & the building became the Barracks for Civil War enlistees, including the first Michigan Colored Infantry. After the war, the Thompson family bought the building & it became known as Thompson Block. Throughout the years, the building thrived & was home to many different businesses. In 1950, the Thompson family closed their doors & put the building up for sale. Businesses came & went but ultimately the building was left to rot.
