With a December winter wedding, many of the traditional floral options were not applicable, but with Liz's guidance, we realized very quickly that just because most flowers may not be in season, doesn't mean that it is still not an absolutely beautiful time of year. Liz and her team effortlessly draped beautiful garland throughout our venue, transformed the central staircase into something out of a storybook, and made a winter arch piece that it still hanging on our front porch as a stunning winter decoration. It was dotted with cinnamon sticks, and ornaments, and dried orange peels in a way that we could never have thought of. It was so creative and magical and made it clear that Liz had seen our vision and expanded on it in such an incredible way. Additionally, when Liz walked in with the bridal bouquets, everyone could not stop admiring and obsessing over them. With the gorgeous variety of blooms and greens, it was truly the most beautiful bouquet I could have imagined. Even more so than the pinterest boards we all obsess over. Lastly, Liz's professionalism was second to none. She made us feel so comfortable and supported throughout the process. She was even able to incorporate pieces of my gown that had been cut off during alterations to add an even more personal, and sparkly(!), touch to the bouquets. I cannot recommend Liz enough. “Julia was so fun to work with! She took the stress out of the process and worked with our budget (which changed a few times!) and totally understand our vision and executed it perfectly. This was no small task either as we had 3 different locations. Including the hotel to drop off bouquets, the ceremony set up, and then the reception all in different locations. “I have to admit, I was hesitant to go with Petal Thyme because they don’t have a big online/social media presence but I’m so glad I trusted the positive Zola reviews and pulled the trigger. We gave Emma and Haley pretty much free rein over the florals for our wedding. I had some inspo photos and answered their questions, but pretty much the only concrete instructions I gave were that the color palate should be “rainbow but not like ROYGBIV” and that the flowers should be as local as possible, preferably from within 500 miles of Arizona. Even though I didn’t have a clear vision, the flowers were very important to me and I wanted a lot. We wanted sustainable flowers and they made sure to not use any floral foam and that the flowers went to good homes after the ceremony, in addition to sourcing the flowers locally like we asked. My only piece of feedback is that they could be a little more prompt to respond to emails, but it was no big deal. I never had to follow up or anything, just be patient! They absolutely made my floral dreams come to life, and within my budget too! I am so grateful for Petal Thyme and all the work they did to make our wedding so special.”
