I've always had an interest in photography, but my passion really took off when I had my first child. There is something special about capturing children in the moments of pure joy. I moved to downtown Minneapolis from Iowa to attend college. My husband and I met my husband at a cafe concert where we both never thought we’d see each other again. A few days later, he walked into my college class and the joy on my face was indescribable. The rest is history! I met a local photographer who took me under their wing where I learned the beauty of photography. This is where I fell in love with people, specifically the connection between two who are madly in love. I am passionate about documenting love in its rawest form for who the couple really is and for how their day naturally unfolds. It’s ALWAYS about the couple.

My love for photography began as a sophomore in high school taking black and white photography. Following high school I lived abroad for a bit and once back in the states started capturing friends weddings. I started my business in 2014 and have never looked back. I capture with both digital and film and believe photos are one of the most important things we have to hold on to for lifetimes to come. I love freezing memories in time and hope my couples feel the same.
