Cody’s Belly Bites was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when I converted a van into a mobile kitchen, delivering fresh, homemade meals to frontline workers across Chicago. Even after opening and closing a restaurant while pregnant during uncertain times, I kept going. What began as affordable meal plates in underserved communities grew into a full-service private chef and catering company operating from a licensed commercial kitchen.
