The wedding planner, her name is Kelly too, here is a doll. She made us feel welcome from the first visit with wine and welcome packet. Fell in love with the possibilities of the space instantly. When you know, you know right away. Our wedding was small and absolutely magical from start to finish. I will cherish every moment for the rest of our lives. I look into my husband's eyes and remember our wedding weekend spent at the Milan Villa like it was yesterday. Unforgettable and timeless! Whitehall was the perfect choice for our wedding! I was apprehensive about having a big wedding at all and was perfectly content with eloping or going to a courthouse, but ultimately decided to have a wedding for our families and the memories. Julia at Whitehall made this entire experience such a dream for my now-husband and I. She’s the venue coordinator but is also an angel that every bride deserves in the months leading up to her wedding and on her wedding day. She answered every stupid question I had very quickly, and is on top of things with sending emails to remind you about scheduling your rehearsal, nailing down your timelines, etc. One of the best parts about this venue is that you drop all of your decor off on the Tuesday before your wedding and they set everything up for you throughout the week! I literally didn’t have to think about a thing and could just spend the days before relaxing and tying up loose ends! We didn’t even nail down our vision for the centerpieces and most of the decor until 10-14 days before the ceremony, but Julia absolutely nailed it and everything was so beautiful! The day of the wedding, her assistant, Brenda, checked in on us while we got ready to make sure we were doing okay and she was the sweetest and just as organized and on top of it as Julia was. Before, during and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception, Julia checked in with my husband and I so many times to make sure we were okay and got us drinks if we needed it. She took so much off my plate mentally the week of my wedding and that was just so special and I appreciated it in ways I don’t know how to explain in 3500 characters or less. This venue has a caterer that comes with it (Taste of Excellence) who were also great to work with, and not having to make that decision was insanely helpful. I mostly dealt with Mikaela and she was very helpful with all of my questions and even accommodated us to schedule a second food tasting (something I don’t think they normally do) because my parents wanted to completely change the food options after the first tasting lol. Whitehall also has a DJ company included (Selective Sound Entertainment) who were great as well! Their online portal to actually select your song requests is a little dated and, you only get 8 “must play” songs, and the rest are more like suggestions for the DJ during the party but to be honest our DJ Jordan kept it bumping all night and it was SO fun he even had the bartender dancing with us from her station! I really couldn’t imagine doing our wedding anywhere else. I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll scream it into the sky for anyone who will listen!

Catering off-site events can be difficult, but Jeanne Fleming made it a breeze. We, as caterers, were able to communicate easily with her from when the wedding planning began through the day and evening of the event. We were able to work together in a way that gave the bride and groom nothing to worry about on their special day. I have been recommending The Christy House after discovering how great they are to work with!

The Madison

Originally built in the early 1900s for luxury faucet manufacturing, the 22,000 square foot warehouse sat empty for decades. The creative potential of the location caught our eye, and in 2016, we went to work to renovate the building. As event vendors ourselves, we designed The Madison to be the best parts of every cool venue we’ve ever worked from Seattle to New York City and Chicago to the Caribbean. In 2018, we reopened the restored space The Madison. We quickly gained acclaim from the area’s top event planners, community collaborators, and even local professional athletes. As Northeast Ohio’s premier event venue, our mission is to cultivate human connection and life’s treasured moments. You’ll find it effortless to work with us and within the space so you can focus more on your goals – and your guests.

I cannot give this venue enough praise! We had the most incredible experience at The Madison for our wedding. From start to finish, it exceeded our expectations in every way and I only have Daryl and Anthony to thank for that. The space is absolutely stunning. I loved that it is a blank slate and that we could decorate it how we wanted. The creative freedom was important to me. Daryl and Anthony are exceptional! They were super understanding when we needed to reschedule and were super easy and fun to work with. We highly recommend The Madison to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free (no literally, I was so calm) wedding day. We will forever cherish the memories that were made here and we are so thankful for everything Daryl and Anthony did to make our day so magical. 3
