In 1981, The Verdin Company, North America's oldest bell and clock company, purchased historic St. Paul's Church. Our venue began in 1928. The historic building was home to The Mt. Lookout Theater. People have been entertained in the space for generations. In 2007 we gave the entire interior fresh start choosing to bring the space back to it's original open layout with a nod to it's Art Deco past. Karrikin Spirits Company is a Cincinnati based craft distillery and event space in Fairfax, committed to exploring our love of flavors with the community. By definition, karrikins are the elements found in the smoke from a forest fire that trigger the regeneration of that forest. In the centuries since Whiskey Hollow was settled, those karrikins have been at work to bring distilling back to this very location on Cincinnati’s east side. In Spring of 2017, seven founding members with experience in brewing & distilling, woodworking, design, and more came together to purchase a building formerly occupied by Swallen’s and later, DnD Metal to start a journey of flavor and fire. Most commonly, BASH is used for either a ceremony or reception, but we welcome its use for both. We recommend hiring an event planner however they are not required but can be helpful in planning the ideal solution for your event. Venue Staff will set, chairs, tables, and table linens however you are responsible for setting all additional decor not purchased through venue and ensuring that the venue is left free of food and returned to its original condition upon the conclusion of your event. As an open vendor venue, you are welcome to supply your own alcohol and select your own catering providers, we provide a bartender when serving alcohol at weddings to ensure responsible consumption.

The Woodward Theater, established in 1913, is a historic music venue & event hall located in Over The Rhine in Cincinnati. We offer a unique, yet versatile ceremony & reception space that enables couples to represent their personal style. Our rental fee includes chairs, tables, linens & bar glassware. We offer all day access starting at 9am, with the option of a room flip during the event.
