Hi, I'm Kim Overholt and I've had passion for baking (and sugar) from a young age. I started Love + Sugar in 2014 and have loved every second of it. I love amazing feeling that comes when someone exclaims after eating my dessert that it is the "best tasting cake (or cookie) ever!" I invite you to try out our desserts for yourself. Sugar and Bake relocated to the DFW area in 2019 and officially opened the bakery there in 2020 after the Covid epidemic restrictions allowed. The head baker and owner learned the craft of sugar arts from professional chefs, top sugar artists, and many courses from around the world. Whether making apple strudel in Austria, paté a choux pastry in France or gravity defying cake decorating in Canada and the US, Sugar and Bake has the experience to make a memorable dessert just for you.
