They offered an amazing package of both photo and video for an amazing price so we booked them not knowing how truly talented they really are! We are sooo glad we went with them. They were so easy to communicate with, they answered all our questions. When our wedding day came they arrived early and were there until the very end. They were so kind, directed us in poses, and made everyone feel very comfortable. Before the wedding I gave them my timeline and a shot list of poses/photos I wanted. The day of they followed the timeline so well and we got done with photos usually before it was even listed for on the timeline. They reminded me of the poses I wanted from the shot list when I was too busy to remember. And we got such beautiful sunset photos that I wanted but in the business of it all would have missed if they didn't remind us. We got our sneak peak photos two weeks after our wedding and were obsessed. The photos came out so beautiful alongside our highlight video that we will continue to rewatch and relive our day through it. We had an initial call when I was inquiring (over a year ahead of the wedding), then we had a venue walkthrough close to the wedding date where she took notes and asked questions, had a final call just before to go over any final details, and took my decor photos/notes to ease my mind on how I wanted things to look. The day of, she handled everything and didn’t need me for a thing - coordinated the vendors, set up the decor, and was our main point of contact for everything, broke down everything at the end. We also rented a few items from her that had to be hauled down to the venue. Everything was perfect. I cried when I saw my vision come to life. “I seriously can’t put into words how amazing she was and cannot recommend her enough. She was great to have around on our wedding day and I am so happy with our photos. The groomsmen didn't have their act together, even though she provides a detailed schedule, and she was totally chill about it and was like no biggie I'll be back in 30. My fiancé commented on how awesome she was (didn't comment on any other vendors) and one of his groomsmen did too (see first pic). This was before we even saw the pics and they turned out better than I could have imagined. At one point I told her I was done taking pics I wanted to go talked to people and dance, so was a little worried if we got enough shots, but was blown away with the results. I also told her I didn't care that much about getting ready pics but wanted a lot of guest candids and she delivered. She also got way more getting ready pics than I even expected. We didn't want to spend money on a second photographer and she was fine with that and got all the pics we wanted on her own. She truly listened to what we wanted and was incredible at communication and organization. On top of that, she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and truly a calming presence during all of the chaos on wedding day. I feel sooo lucky we found her.”

I started 1828 Collective in 2016 after I realized that capturing relationships and telling love stories was my passion. Four years later I'm so in love with my job that I often forget I'm working. I find joy in capturing love, hearing about how you met, and everything in between.

She brought a second photographer (per our request) that we hadn't met before but both of them connected with all of our wedding guests, captured the most beautiful, intimate, and representative moments. We were sad when they left but not for the lack of photography! It took about 6 weeks to get our photos and they were amazing - we got nearly a thousand edited shots from the day, meaning we'll get to relive the entire night for the rest of our lives.”

“I cannot recommend Maddy and Cass enough for someone who needs help on their big day! I was pretty set on planning when it came to vendors, however I was completely lost on the logistical aspect of the wedding day itself. Maddy and Cass were lifesavers in creating the perfect timeline with plenty of Plan B options (which we utilized for weather!). They were so thorough, responding with the most thoughtful emails to some of my silly questions. We hired them for "wedding management", but they did so much more than that. They had an intro call with us, came to my house & met my parents, went to our walk through, had another final call, and were with us from the morning of the wedding day until midnight. They thought of creative solutions for me to address vendors when things got a little hairy, and even offered to reach out to my vendor for me. The day of packet they created was unbelievable. They were everything I needed to keep my day stress free.”
