The Stables at Connoquenessing was originally built in 1928 as part of the Spang Estate. What was once a working barn home to Belgian draft horses and Guernsey cows, has now been renovated into a rustic, yet elegant two-story event facility. During the 1950s, peacocks, chickens, ducks, and geese could be found roaming the portion of the property that is now occupied by a covered patio, well-kept landscaping, and ample green space that creates a beautiful natural setting for all of your future events. A premier rustic venue space for your event. Originally the home of a functioning farm, the barn social has undergone a full renovation while maintaining the original rustic features. The barn features a chandelier in the main room that is constructed using old farming equipment, and the shiplap walls as well as the fireplace downstairs were both built using extra pieces of the original barn. These are just a few ways we have kept the original aesthetic of the space.

The timber frame barn was built in 1905. It is 3,300 square feet and can comfortably seats 200 guests, with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. In 2012-2013, it was renovated to restore its original structure. Wagon wheel chandeliers and a unique bar constructed from French wine barrels and the original barn doors were added. The surrounding farmland offers stunning views and sunsets. We have tables, chairs, white china, flatware, ivory or white linen tablecloths and white napkins, burlap runners, mason jars or water glasses, bridal dressing room, and much more. Faraone Brothers Catering offers wonderful food and service. Alcohol is permitted, with use of certified bartenders and licensed security personnel. The barn is a short drive from multiple hotels and B&B's and it has easy access from I-80, I-79, and PA 376. Pittsburgh is less than an hour away.
